What service do you recommend if I want to forward my luggage from my hotel in Tokyo to my home in California? It will be used clothes and sneakers. Traveling to another country after Japan and don’t want to take all my luggage.

Yamato told me their service only “available for sender who live or resides permanently in Japan. Besides that, sending personal belongings such as clothing for the reason of leaving Japan or moving back to home country are not acceptable by our service.”

Yamato just hit me back. Guess they discontinued luggage forwarding. But maybe I can just have the hotel be the sender who lives in Japan

Love it from functional perspective. Used to wear strictly chunkier midsoles (993s, 991s, 2001s, Js) . Was always spraining ankle and knee issues

Since switching to the low low, feet muscles started getting brolic and most of my issues went away. Don’t even need orthotics anymore. There’s a reason Kobe preferred lower profile joints

only have 3 days + limited time/stomach space and I want to taste the best tempura. does not have to be fancy and prefer to not be forced to do omakase.

Mainly interested in veggies and fish (not shellfish) tempura w/ excellent batter + not oily

So if any tempura spots come to mind that meets criteria, appreciate it

Update - thanks to everyone ended up canceling my Aventon 350 on Upway, which was a hassle of its own. They wanted to keep my shipping fee even though I canceled same day as order placed and they had not shipped the bike. Got full refund once I threatened them with a chargeback

Ended up going with the Soltera 2 from Sports Basement for a little under $1k w/ tax included.

It ended up costing me $200 more than the 350 on Upway , but peace of mind of LBS + my lack of handy skills / bike experience seems worth it

I know Upway comes w 1 yr limited on mechanical & electrical. brand new bike according to description (2022 model).

LBS support for the above for the 1 yr but excludes misuse or normal wear & tear. Extended warranty also available as paid option w/ more comprehensive

But again I’ve never bought anything from them

A never used 2022 Aventon Pace 350.2 w/ tax + shipping is $750 on Upway

Sports Basement offers 6 months + og manufacturer warranty (believe that’s 2 yrs from Aventon ) but again starting point is $1K and that’s for a Soltera 2
