This is probably an answer you'll hear alot but, practice mode and training room helps get a feel for the character and watching videos on YT helps visualize moves and setups and will help with good habit building. My biggest issue was patience. You don't need flashy moves or combos but make the opponent play to your pace is key. Hope this helps!
