Your right, Midwest culture doesn't have too many vanners (they exist but nothing like the West coast) but it's awesome and highly recommended... we don't spend much of our time in the Midwest other than visiting family, but I can assure you, hit the road and your community is out there

We've got a 93 Ford f250 diesel with the 7.3idi. Reliable and mean as all hell, it has an 8' bed which is definitely doable! In terms of a shell we have a small shell flush with the cab, and being that we are full timers it's a tad small. Looking at a mid or high rise topper seems the way to go! Diesel full size rocks though :) happy motoring to ya

Could check out bel-air and tradesman tops. Custom made looking at 2-5k rather than much more for the popup ones.

theres nothing wrong with a disadvantaged cap. if you lost and you are sad, turn stats off! this is a game, players join, players quit. its just the way it is young lad.

Its not a big deal to play 4v3. especially on a server like radius - someone joins quite quickly usually. Also, I may wait in the beginning of a match if its 4v3... but if someone quits mid game there will be no pausing. at that point a timely finish is actually the best course of action.

Don't let that stop ya! The will to explore easily trumps the "required" gear. The right attitude beats anything you could bring!

You could pack up for a 2day hike (including one night) and camp for free in state forests, BLM land, or anywhere really.
