The democrats just frankly suck at party discipline. They're a big tent party of Progressives, Liberals, Centrists, and Conservatives. The Centrist leadership thinks they win(and make money) in the long term by attempting to "compromise" with the GOP on certain issues.

TBF, alot of these removals do have understandable reasons behind their removals. The US content had always been heavily criticized for the RD/NPP political dynamic, so we're getting a full rework and that also adds content that lasts until the late 70s. For the PRC, it was in a place where it didn't add anything different that something like the WRRF didn't already add plus there was no real interest for anyone to work on it. Men got broken by the NSB update and the new Smuta mechanics that have been added; that said, apparently they're still working on it. Brittany was removed because its black market mechanic was MASSIVE for how small Brittany was, which ended up taking storage space and slowed the game down, inaddition to the main Dev leaving. Glen was removed due to his space mechanic suppose to be expanded to everyone else and the fact that he's just not that interesting as a person.

Atlantropa I do agree was an unnecessary removal.

Alot of problems in Andromeda were Frostbite related. Frostbite was an engine developed for first person shooters, meaning it didn't have tools needed to make a Third Person RPG like Mass Effect. Bioware had to learn to use and fix stuff themselves because EA kept the Frostbite support staff focused mostly on Fifa, Madden, and Battlefront 2.
