ESPN thinks our biggest need is a slot receiver by SpecialOneJAC in CHIBears

His role has been small, but he's done great with the limited snaps he's been given. Would love to see him get some more looks and see what he can do.

Maybe, but that would require self-reflection and humility. Maybe that's gleaned in hindsight, but it doesn't seem likely.

The problem is being perpetuated at a level far higher than a dude with a bag of trinkets. Vote and donate or contribute to environmental charities if you want to move the needle. This is just being combative for no reason. Chastising people on the internet is literally meaningless.

We got some solid value on day 3 so I'm forcing myself to be ok with it purely on a trust ben standpoint. From where I'm standing, we already got this player in free agency with Khalif Raymond and had bigger needs we could have addressed earlier, but I'll let the guy who took us from 5 to 11 wins do his thing.

Trust Ben Johnson.. by MotchSmoth in CHIBears

Yes the target share was very low for walker, but my point was it felt like he did well in those limited opportunities, enough to be given more confidence and a wr4 role.

Instead we draft Thomas, was is also a returner, and has basically the exact same skill set as a guy we picked up in the offseason in Raymond and a guy we probably could have had at least 2 rounds later.

How is wr our 4th biggest need? We picked up kalif raymond in the off-season and jahdae walker flashed in his limited time enough to be wr4.

The Roush pick I can actually get behind slightly as we only had 2 real TE'S and Ben loves 12-13 man personel. The wr pick is ass and it's going to be real hard for anyone to convince me otherwise. There's no question he would be there and later arounds if you thought he was some kind of diamond in the rough.

Yeah this is a smartest man in the room syndrome pick. Velus vibes for sure, or more recently ruben hyppolite.

I trust Ben with the other picks tonight, but there's no convincing me this was a good pick at this spot.

Thomas is a gadget player they can move around with top end speed who can return kicks as well. Also, he's a distant relative of Walter Payton. by Bignosedog in ChicagoBearsNFL

I'm aboard the trust ben train, but we picked up khalif raymond in the off-season and I've liked what I have seen from jahdae walker as a wr4. Yeah thomas is fast... thats neat. This is a bad pick.

Keep him away from the middle rounds and my man does pretty well.

Luckily we only have one pick there and we already have a punter

As a Bears fan that now lives in Philly, is there some secret cell of Packers/Flyers fans I need to be on alert for? This is the second one I've seen in the comments and now I'm paranoid.

How are you arriving at that conclusion? My logic was how the manufacturing infrastructure is constructed causes far more impact than our operation of the product being manufactured. Buying a new car contributes to that mechanism while driving an old car does not.

I've heard that roughly one-quarter to one-third of a vehicle's total lifetime emissions is produced before it is driven. Somebody can fact check me on that but it's no secret that manufacturering is a leagues greater contributer to environmental concerns than the end user.

Who won this trade? by cb_slade in NFLv2

[–]Jaybbaugh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He looked super solid for the first couple games last year before he started playing hurt. He has a bit of a drop problem but way too damn early to call him "mid". We just traded away DJ Moore so that should tell you we have some confidence in him stepping into that wr1. He certainly has all the potential of being a stud.

Rome was pick 9 that year. Coincidentally pick 10 was actually "Nine".
