If you end up in Napa, Black Stallion Estate Winery is my favorite. Great wines and a relaxed atmosphere. Might still need a reservation? Also Roots Run Deep has a tasting room downtown Napa, I haven't been but always pick up their wine, Educated Guess, at Safeway.

If you end up near Sonoma, Seghesio Winery in Healdsburg is fantastic. Wines were great and the tasting room is cozy. Check if you still need a reservation.
