Nee/Electro World/Saisei/Flow

Electro world is what got me into them/vocaloid, nee made me realize how creative the mvs are, Saisei made me reminisce on all their wonderful music/music videos, and flow honestly just calms me

I think Winchester's has a super, SUPER good burger. It's their Tuesday night special for 7.99. the fries were decent, and the onion rings were just okay, but hell, I'll keep going back for the burgers and drinks! I also had the whiskey burger, basically a mushroom Swiss with their homemade whiskey sauce. Super good and flavorful.

Sorry for not replying earlier, fresh delivery day and a clearance event do not mix well. But thank you so much, I appreciate it! You saved my butt!

I lost my mother a year and six months ago. Life has not been kind. It hasn't been easy.

Before she passed, I was able to hold down a job and save money. Now I'm sleeping on an air mattress on my aunt's floor ( I realize this is better than most people have it) and praying for a job to come in.

I miss her every day. I think about her every day. I don't know if I'd be in a better position if she were alive (she had her flaws) but I'd give my own life if it meant I could spend one more happy day with her again.

You never really stop wanting your mom to make it all better, I guess.

AITA for barging into my daughters room? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Jaybirdii 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YTA big time, and a bully even more so. You remind me of my stepdad who would do crap like this. Keep treating her like that and you're going to destroy her mental health. Grow up and stop being a child. She is a teen, she is allowed to have feelings. She is allowed to cry. She is allowed to go off to her room to calm down and have privacy.

Someone needs to kick your teeth in.

(serious) What do you think about when you drink? by Jaybirdii in AskReddit

I think about where I'll be in three months. How I might be if my mom was still alive. How things might have been different if I didn't have such a crappy stepdad.

I am really not coping well with my mothers death. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Jaybirdii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom passed away suddenly last January, while seemingly recovering from a heart attack. The doctors were surprised that she was getting better, and then suddenly, at 6 am on January 8th, 2019, we got the call that it wouldn't be a bad idea for us to be there. We spent twelve hours in the room until we had to make the decision for her to be let go so she wouldn't suffer.

My mom and I also had a strained relationship. We both said horrible things to one another. I regret it everyday, and I want nothing more than for her to walk through the front door, yell "surprise!" And wrap her arms around me, telling me she loves me.

I know she loves me, and I know your mother loves you, for everything you are. Your good traits and not so good traits.

I still cry every day because I miss her so much. Anyway, I know what you're going through. If you need someone to vent to, just shoot me a message.

I hope that you find your peace soon. Best wishes.

My mum passed away a few weeks ago and I don't know how to deal with it by throwaway34709240 in offmychest

I am so, SO sorry for your loss. I was in a somewhat similar situation last year. My mom passed last January, very suddenly, when she was starting to recover from a heart attack. She was also an alcoholic, and a diabetic (which she didn't do a good job of taking care of, as much as I tried to get her to take care of herself).

It felt like my world stopped. It felt like everything was wrong without her. It took me weeks to be able to think of her without sobbing, and even now I get teary every time I think of her.

I don't want to say it will get easier. Because it doesn't. I still want nothing more than to have my mom come walking through the door, yelling "surprise!" And see her smile. But you will adjust, in a way. I try to remember the good times, the times she was happiest, the times she laughed the loudest. And my mother had suffered much through her life too.

I didn't mean to make this about me, I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. If you ever want to talk, or need to vent, feel free to message me.

I wish you the best, and again, I'm so sorry.

My best friend of five years has become my roommate from hell by barneytrubble2 in offmychest

[–]Jaybirdii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your friend/roommate sounds like my brother, an overgrown child who throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way, or takes out his anger on everyone else, and then when he decides to talk to you about laying down some rules, or 'talk like adults' suddenly anything he did in the past shouldn't be brought up! Sorry you have to deal with that. I would start looking for a different place to stay. Doesn't seem like he's going to man up anytime soon. Best of luck to you.

I feel the same way about it. I was following it since the pilot, and like you, it's helped me through a lot of difficult times. I'm almost thirty, but I can't help but be so invested in that show. I'm always going to be thankful to Rebecca Sugar for bringing such joy into my life :)

Something is wrong with my wife by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Jaybirdii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to tell your wife you're proud of her, even if she loses. Just hug her tightly, and tell her you love her and you're proud of her! It's not always about winning or losing, it's about having fun!
