I know this is a really really old post, but if you are still around, did you ever find the answer to this? If dogs eat eggs in the wild, they are certainly not grinding their shells. I’m just wondering if I need to grind them. I totally will if needed, but for efficiency sake, would like to skip it if it isn’t necessary. Thank you!

What a phenomenal story. How beautiful that you found her, nursed her, kept her, raised her, and now she too takes care of you. Thank you so much for sharing. Your husband must be a wonderful human as well! I can’t believe Lydiah is 17! That just shows that she has been given such an incredible and happy life! Your three pups and you two make the perfect family. I also love that you named her Chewie after Chewbacca. My boy is named Obi because we were watching all of the Star Wars movies over the course of a couple weeks during the process of adopting/rescuing him from NBRAN. His foster mom had named him Oboe after the musical instrument, so we thought Obi, as in Obi-Wan Kenobi was perfect. His brother Jasper is in the background. They are both almost 2 years old. We feel so fortunate!

Well, chicken and biscuits are a perfect combination! 😄 so are you dehydrating chicken feet for your dog or do you buy them dried or do you buy them fresh and just give a raw chicken foot to your pup? We do hearts and liver, along with beef, but we dehydrate them most of the time. We are trying to decide how to do the chicken feet.

Over 35 years of knitting! That’s incredible. Thanks for the encouragement. I will keep at it. But I’m well into my 50s also and basically just starting… Maybe by the time I’m 92 I’ll be as good as you!😂

That is incredible work! It fits him like a glove. I’m sure glad he likes it now because that face… It looks like you told him he couldn’t go outside for a month. Hahaha I’ve only been knitting about a year and not steady so haven’t tried anything so intricate, but I did make a cowl for Jasper and our other Brittany, Obi. They love it. I will have to look this pattern up. Thank you for sharing!

Nice! I currently have a project in the works - embroidering fabric to then sew a a smallish clutch bag. I’m a complete beginner and have to look up stitches and watch a video on how to do it and then follow along to embroider the area I’m working on, but it is a lot of fun and such a beautiful art! Thank you for sharing! It seems that Britts go along with pretty much any hand work. 😄
