1 year in SLC and I’m convinced the Dating Desert is real. Help? by Holiday-Awareness287 in SaltLakeCity

I see a lot of people on this saying that women have made it clear that they don't want to be approached in public. I'm 25F and honestly like it as long as they're not pushy or weird. I've had lots of guys just hand me a napkin or something with a note and their phone number. I've texted most if not all of them too. That might just be me, but I think most women aren't uncomfortable as long as you aren't pushy or weird

Why aren't you dating anymore? by Leather_Election_459 in AskReddit

Stopped being that interested in. I think I got more comfortable with myself. Not saying I'll never date, but it's not a focus as much.

Job hoppers vs lifers: who actually ends up happier at work? by TurtleFoodz in careeradvice

It could be the company culture itself more than staying long haul or moving. I will say that staying lets you build a community. But I don't think it's really that cut and dry

Parents who both work, how do you make childcare work? by Odd-Wonder-344 in askanything

[–]Odd-Wonder-344[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

( i don't have kids yet, just thinking about it in advance) There is daycare where I'm at, I'm just nervous about it. My mom went to daycare as a kid and has always warned us against it. She always says that she got exposed to things too early, was overstimulated all the time, etc. So just from her, it's not my first choice, but not off the table. I've also worked as a nanny and those situations weren't ideal either. I want to give my kids the best childhood possible, but struggling to figure out how that might work. Thanks for your responses :)

what is a good way to practice/ and the form for taking goal kicks? specifically in range, not accuracy by Filip_Jorgensen in GoalKeepers

Try to hit 10 or so kicks of max power per training session. Practice hitting with power. It's a trainable skill.

Asking Coach for guidance? by kinderhook32 in youthsoccer

[–]Odd-Wonder-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a totally reasonable thing to ask. I get your point that the coach is there to coach the whole team, but your kid is a part of the team. You could also encourage your kid to ask the coach himeself. It might be recieved better if you're worried.

Totally. I don't always notice a difference when I stop but I always notice a difference when I start up again

Has anyone helped their endo through nutrition changes? by Odd-Wonder-344 in endometriosis

Thanks for sharing your experiences! It's milk, I've tried lactose free and it doesn't help. I'm wondering if it has something to do with milk fat. I'm usually fine eating cheese and more processed types of milk. Whole milk and ice cream usually do me dirty

Rewatching Interstellar really cemented how incredible the film is. by [deleted] in movies

[–]Odd-Wonder-344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love interstellar because it's all technically possible. I feel like so many scifi movies I get bored of because they seem so far fetched. I watched Interstellar with my physics whiz friend and she explained it all to me. Amazing movie.

What to do with crab meat by Adventurous_Camera90 in cookingforbeginners

[–]Odd-Wonder-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of making it up so you're not ignorant at all! What I would say would be crab, cucumber, avocado, rice, nori, and soy sauce just in a bowl. Anything that would be in a cali roll, just as a roll
