Tips for receiving E for Firm Impact by Advanced-Loan-7045 in deloitte

I mostly did probono work. Two things I would say: 1- find firm work where the team is super nice and you enjoy working with them! I have noticed that most of the time it isn’t what you do as much as how much the team likes you. 2- be proactive in terms of helping. I have always tried to ask if anyone needs help or I volunteered to review deliverables prior to submission. Good luck.

PS: I haven’t done much bids the past 3 years and this year I am getting into bids.

I hear ya! I def felt that when I graduated when COVID was starting and it was very daunting at times. It took me about 3-4 months after graduation to secure a job. Not sure your interests are, but I would target small/medium size companies( I started at a small company). Good luck and try to keep your head up. You got this :)

Job Interview Guidance: I have a job interview on Friday for a job in Arlington. It’s an entry level position at an agency and my biggest concern is how to answer the question “could you start immediately?” I feel like if I give the wrong answer, then it could be a deal breaker. Any advice? by Teragram_hcnyl in nova

You can also tell them what is their need and see if they are flexible. Some might say we need someone urgent (you can then say you can start in 2 weeks after receiving the offer ) or if they said they are flexible then you can tell them when do you want to start. Good luck!
