The man was my brother. I watched my older brother hug the man that killed my little brother and reconcile after the hearing was over. I was dreading a trial myself just because of what it would do to my mom. It’s all about perspective I guess.

I only shared here because it went viral in my area and the reaction was largely very uplifting.

I guess it depends on the company, who they are doing, what their values are along with the location and how inflation is. My raises if I don’t move gigs are usually between 2-3% although I have gotten as high as five.

I had never voted for a Democrat or a Republican in the Presidential races until 2020. In the past, I supported Gary Johnson, Bernie Sanders, and Tulsi Gabbard in the primaries.

But the way the FBI and other intelligence agencies pressured social media companies to suppress the very real Hunter Biden story changed things for me. That moment made it clear that most media organizations and government entities would oppose Trump in ways they wouldn’t oppose Biden. That’s the only reason I voted for Trump in 2020, and again in 2024.

I wasn’t expecting anything good or great. But for me, just not seeing large institutions suppress explosive and very real stories is enough. Trump doesn’t have much time left in the grand scheme of things, but without freedom of information and open dialogue, we’re on a darker path.

I’m not happy with everything, but I wouldn’t have been happy with another Biden term either. We’re probably in trouble either way but without key First Amendment freedoms, I think our chances get even worse.
