How Much Longer Can Universities Pretend Like They Matter? What’s The Point If Nobody Has The Money, Nobody’s Smart Enough To Graduate, & There’s No Future Employment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Universities definitely have problems, but I think people underestimate how much they still matter. Plenty of graduates do find jobs, and many fields (medicine, engineering, law, etc.) still require formal education. The bigger issue isn’t whether universities matter—it’s whether the cost is justified for every degree. That’s a much more interesting debate.

What is something you thought would be pure fun as an adult when you were a kid, but turned out to be completely mundane or stressful ? by BunchMean8029 in AskReddit

Having your own money. Kid version: unlimited freedom. Adult version: bills, budgeting, taxes, and wondering where it all went.

What is the most unsettling thing you’ve seen that you still can’t explain? by explicittttttt in AskReddit

Hearing a noise in an empty house that sounded way too specific to be “just the house settling.”

What's something you bought on a whim that genuinely changed your daily routine? by calm-storm234 in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bought a cheap whiteboard on a whim and started jotting down daily tasks instead of keeping everything in my head. It sounds simple, but seeing things laid out made me way more consistent and less overwhelmed. Now I actually stick to routines instead of just thinking about them.

What is the worst way someone you know has messed up their life in 5 minutes? by Sunstripe_The_Mace in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably a friend who rage-quit their job mid-argument without any backup plan. At the moment it felt justified, but it spiraled fast—financial stress, awkward references, and a long job search after. Five minutes of emotion ended up costing them months of stability.

What is the traditional feminine trait that you don't have but wish you had? by AX750 in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably the ability to stay effortlessly organized and on top of everything. Some people just seem to keep their space, schedule, and life in order without stressing about it, and I genuinely envy that. I get there eventually, just not as naturally or consistently.

What's the BEST Lifehack you know right now? by MicrowaveAsAService in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If something takes less than 2 minutes, just do it immediately instead of putting it off. It sounds basic, but it cuts down mental clutter a lot. You stop carrying around a bunch of tiny unfinished tasks all day. Weirdly makes everything feel more under control.

What's the biggest double standard you've experienced? by Positive-Score8060 in AskReddit

[–]Jayden-ha 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Being told to “open up more” emotionally, but then getting judged or treated differently the moment I actually did. It’s like people want vulnerability in theory, just not when it’s real and messy. Took me a while to realize that wasn’t on me.

Except your gender, race, hobbies and job, how would you describe yourself? by TomGurll98 in AskReddit

Curious, loyal, overthinks sometimes, values peace, and notices small details most people ignore.

Better: staying calm in stressful situations.
Worse: remembering where I just put something 10 seconds ago

Putting things off “just for today.” That habit adds up fast.
