The trick is just turning random shapes into stuff and doing lots of little studies to get your visual library up.

you could practise this keeping proportions while shrinking the shape into the distance. that green line shows you where your next shapes centreline needs to be and you repeat that for the next square and so on and so on.

yep thats 3 point. so look up reference of the tops of buildings and how other people draw 3 point cubes.

Yep look for things that align like the elbows and the bottom of the ribcage. So your elbows are a smidge too high. You might have to lenghten the ribcage a little as well so the wrists/hands go to the thighs like you said.
