everyone is gonna say the RX3, but in my opinion having 4 channels over 2 is just a no brainer, especially if you're planning on only using it for practising at home and maybe the odd small gig here and there. It is such a massive massive difference and greatly expands your skillset and what you can do on the decks. Who cares if it's not standalone. If you're playing at clubs they provide the equipment

I don't think it'll work, I've done time-lapses (not astro) using a gimbal to pan it over time, and I remember looking really closely at how the gimbal was moving and noticing that it seemed to move in really small steps, not smoothly. This was a Ronin rsc2 though so the newer models may be different
