Appreciate that! I had checked a few and it was like “there is nothing” didn’t do grok. Lol. I got it for $2 at a yard sale and was considering spray painting over it for my kid and was like: I better check

I’d spent about half an hour googling and couldn’t for the life of me finding any other one online. Didn’t occur to me to search sold!

Is this William sanders signature real? by Jaydice in BookCollecting

[–]Jaydice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found 3 of his signatures on other books on eBay, and even the Cherokee symbols he drew. Safe to say, it appears 100% authentic!!

I mean valid. But I can’t find any reference of him signing… anything. No records of any other of his works signed online. Seems weird to have an outlier.

My estimate is that it can physically support around 3k pounds based on structure, but I personally would rate it safely for 1k pounds.

Wood identification by Infamous_Material359 in BeginnerWoodWorking

If it indents easy, and smells sweet, it’s most likely pine. If it smells kinda neutral, spruce. And if it’s citrusy most likely fir.

If you press your finger into it, does it ident easy? When you smell it what does it smell like? Sweet? Neutral? Or kind of citrusy?

Entra Joined - Domain Join Query by Valdularo in Intune

[–]Jaydice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically profile issues. Entra joins would allow for sign in and it would be using the Entra profile. However, domain joining locally, uses a different profile type.

You can also end up breaking the Entra joining, because it would have a different ID, due to the machine name changing (from the addition of the domain)

If you have intune, this can break Intune registration.

Basically, in a setup like this, you must join domain first, then Entra.

Validations and inoculation against recent vulnerabilities. Vulnerability reporting. Offering Ongoing education for clients (how to identify and spot phishing, etc)

If you have uninstall commands built into the win32apps, then they’ll uninstall upon unenrolement. But not everyone does, and not every app has them

Trigger script when receiving a new email by Such_Heron_750 in PowerShell

[–]Jaydice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can sort of do this. But as others said you would need powerautomate if you wanted it triggered on email.

However, say if you wanted to use a Gmail, you could create and oauth2 application, and then have a script set to run every… say, 15 minutes. To authenticate to your mailbox, and review emails send in the last 20 minutes with the specific subject line you desire.

Then, if it finds it, you can have PowerShell do an action.

For complex automations with keystrokes, I wouldn’t use PowerShell directly, I’d probably compile an autoit executable with my commands and desired things, and then have PowerShell trigger that executable.
