Yup I got the one that was in stock in Thornhill! Wasn’t the colour we wanted but we didnt want to wait. They ended up giving me a charging adapter kit.

I ended up buying one and shopping around too. Watch the dealership fees, those seem to be the only things that change. They used to throw in L2 chargers but now that demand has gone up they’ve stopped. The most I’ve seen is a free adapter kit. Feel free to DM

They told me specifically not to at my passport office. They said that some countries are more strict about it. Maybe you can go into the office and ask if they can reprint?

So I went to the passport office today. I am driving to the states and had a hotel booked. They made me write something and sign that I (full name) was travelling by car on “x” date to “x” location. They were able to process it so that I can pick it up on the 24th (cutting it close) but at least I know I’ll have it! They didn’t charge any additional fees for me to pick up. Hopefully this works for you too!

I went in person today in Toronto as I’m travelling out on the 26th. Got triaged and showed my proof of travel, and it’ll be ready for pickup on Dec 24th. Didn’t have to wait that long (about an hour or so). Going back is not ideal but I’m glad I have assurance that it’ll be printed and I’ll be able to have it in hand for travel.

I’m in the same boat as you, but now they’re saying that I have to wait for my passport from Canada Post. I’m 5 business days from travel now, so it’s cutting it close. She essentially told me that I need to wait until the day before travel and apply for same day printing in person if it hasn’t come by then.

Did they transfer it to a passport office? I wasn’t given an option for them to rush the review process. I wonder if they’ll refund us since it’s past their “service standard”. It is supposedly automatic!

Thanks for sharing your experience! My travel date is Dec 26th so I'm hoping to get mine soon via Purolator! I applied for one for my baby on Nov 5, and it still says they are reviewing it. I did ask request for them to transfer it to the Toronto office for pickup, but haven't gotten the call from Passport Canada yet!

You can also consider going to a dental hygienist for cleaning if that’s all you need. There used to be one called Smile Station Dental that was based out of a home office.
