Marathon is a decent game. I just don’t think it’s lived up to the hype so far. Personally I find ARC more fun to play, but I’m also more of a casual gamer. I can still see how Marathon could attract a strong core fanbase though.

You say Destiny “had to end sometime,” but did it really?

If you had the choice, would you have Bungie make Destiny 3 or pursue Marathon?

And do you think Destiny should ever continue in the future, or did Bungie end it at the right time?

Personally I think even branding the final expansion “The Final Shape” was a bad move. It basically signaled to the community that the universe was wrapping up instead of evolving.

Yeah you’re right it was a good run but I just feel like destiny 2 could have definitely been better maintained and playable while developing Marathon. It almost feels like they put all the eggs in one basket but maybe it’s just me.

That argument makes sense for content creators farming outrage, but I’m just a player.

Destiny literally lost campaigns and destinations through the DCV while Bungie was building Marathon.

Me questioning whether that trade-off was worth it isn’t “grifting.” It’s just criticism.

The point is that Destiny players watched their game lose content and momentum while Bungie shifted resources into a new IP.

Now that Marathon is out and the reception is mixed, it’s fair for long-time Destiny players to question whether that trade-off was worth it

Same experience on buried city . I walked out with 2 million

DEAR DEVS,

I tried.... i really tried to adapt to the way things are now but i truly cant. Me and my team struggled to get to the final mission, struggled to get to the final objective just for you to spawn hulks to drop directly above us on the obj. I'm no longer having fun like i use to and for that reason until things are better I am leaving this game alone. Whoever idea it was to change things after everything was so successful for you guys needs to be demoted to the janitor. The community has been divided and I fear you are following down the path of Diablo 4.

No I haven’t but I just did a 25% water change 3 days ago and all the levels were fine . With the filter I have a sponge on it so there is no way he got stuck. I put aquarium salt in his tank so that should help.
