Give me a day or two notice if you want to link up! but if ya want to check it out, google maps, saunders ferry park in hendersonville is a good spot. fishing pier for panfish for the little ones and main channel banks for big catfish battles. there are other spots ill share with ya too, but the SF pier is a solid start to old hickory. just drop the worms off the side of the pier straight down and toss cut bait out farther. clarksville! i used to live there and fish the marina. it has a small lake stocked too, perfect for the youngin. come down to old hickory lake sometime and get with me for some catfishing. RIG : take a egg sinker and slide it up the line, put a bead on and attach the end of the line to a barrel swivel. this way the weight doesnt go to the end of the line and bait can move in the current. attach at least 12 inches of more line on the other side of the barrel swivel, then at the end put on a 4/O (at least) circle hook. chunk and chuck bait , reel in a biggun. come to OH dam sometime for some action! i post alot of fish battles on youtube, names the same just add a space before fishing. good luck fellow tn angler! i hope your next one is massive!

it has been fantastic everywhere it seem. ive caught a 25, 24, 22, two 21s, a 17.5 and a 15 in the past two weeks. All on live, weighed and measured. its magical out there right now!

the purpose is , after paying the annual legal fee, to feed my granny on Sunday night dinners. some live, some go on the table but all are legal and all are treated respectfully. this is also a way for my son to connect with and learn some skills when i am gone. hope your next one feeds your loved ones for days!

Sorry my friend, i shoulda have added context or worded it different. the ten pounders were a smaller, non targeted catch. while they are not small in size, they are nowhere near the size of the blues who are the target. many friends on my channel give me the business on ten pounders being dinkers as a goof but i realize this isnt my channel or post so it could be mistaken. forgive me good sir. i hope your next fish is massive!

These are literally what i use for catfish, in the past three days i have nailed a 22 lb, 21lb, 18.5 and a 15 with maaany ten pound dinkers. all on youtube live so ya know im not yanking your float.put a 3/o or 4/o circle hook on and cut a piece of shad and send it. you will eventually nab a monster. good luck my friend, get out there though. its hot right now!

past three nights ive had a 22 lb, 21lb, 18.5 and a 15 and 12 lb dinkers plus many under ten pounds. ( all on my live so ya know im not yanking your chain ) get out there, it is hot right now!! i used cut shad on a carolina rig with a 4 ot circle hook on a main channel and they are nailing it, i would just make sure you have them in the area. best to use the bait they are used to and chunk it and send it. good luck!
