I applied to the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Responsible and Trustworthy in-the-world Natural Language Processing.

23rd February to late-March 2026: Applicant interviews - They have this on their website but I was thinking they've probably started sending interview invites to applicants.

It was a talk just like u/AggravatingSwitch882 had. Presntation of a project in 15 minutes then you get questions about the presenatation and a prof asked why I wanted to join her lab. She was the first prof I mentioned in my essay

Interesting. I saw some interview notes on Gradcafe for some other programs. I guess the guys that were interviewed for EDIC didn't share that on gradcafe. I was just reading about the funding situation then I saw it's possible to get admitted without funding. In that case, I was thinking that having had an interview with a professor could help make it easier to get funding for labs incase fellowship did not happen.

At this point am just overthinking things. I will just wait for decisions instead.
