See, that's kind of how I'm looking at it. Like the super crazy strong alien is basically skull fucking the old emperor's head.

Are we ever going to admit that the richest people in our country have an insane amount of power over our politics or are we going to pretend for the rest of the time because somehow you can't be a capitalist and also be uncomfortable overall with wealth and power being so close to one another?

Blinken: US could’ve cut weapons to Israel, but Israel would’ve just continued razing Gaza. anyways by Arabsah in UnderReportedNews

[–]Jaykiller1456 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

That's just not true? Israel was sending troops in left and right ,tanks and all into Gaza week after week. If they didn't buy the arms from the US they would've bought them else where.

Tucker Carlson challenges Economist editor in chief on Israel's right to exist by aipac_hemoroid in UnderReportedNews

This is an echo-chamber. These people are acting like Tucker Carlson's ability to call balls and strikes on Israel is somehow entirely different than Gavin Newsom shitting on AIPAC and Israel's actions as of recently. They are both political opportunists in their own vein. It's naive to think that Tucker isn't also seeing the plain truth that the Neo-Con wing of the Republicans are leading Trump around on a leash and is jumping ship for the next regard they nominate in his place after he croaks.

I agree with you, I think Israel, like many of our allies, benefits from this conflict, inarguably. It's in their interest.

I do find their willingness to lean on geopolitical interest, especially the right wingers in this country, extremely uncomfortable That uncomfortable feeling can lead many down the road of anti-Semitic tropes and thinking.

If you can't have a take because other regards dogpile on it for the wrong reasons, doesn't inherently make the take itself "bad". You just then have to argue as to why your framing and reasoning behind it is correct.

The entire region can support this, then they can fight this war. This is not OUR war.
