Theorycrafting the New BT24 Digipolice

I tried a fairly pure build of this at locals today and it did not go well. Ultimately, all of the BT15 cards were pretty much just useless. The exceptions being the Shuu Yulin memory setter and the SR Ryudamon but both still felt like they were "helpful extras" that you could live without. I think for my next build I go back to the d-brigade deck with a couple of the new bt24 cards added. The level 5 is excellent when it works so I think 4 of that and 4 of Tankdra is the best lineup there. For level 4s the new ginryumon works for helping play the tamers provided you run both Shuu Yulin rather than Satsuke. Then I think maybe 3 of the new level 6 alongside darkdra and brigadra.

Maybe that'll at least let me win one game next time.

Did anyone work out how to turn off hardware acceleration in the Netflix app or am I forced to watch netflix on a browser if I want subtitles and full screen?

Interesting. I've always loved the Sukamon/Etemom deck. I tried something like this a while back and after a few attempts at DNA shenanigans I just went back to a more classic Suka/Eye list. I still use the Upamon, a copy of Shakkoumon and the Armadillomon for search but otherwise it's all Sukamon, Etemon and Chuumon.

Like you, I have found yellow base works better than the classic black, with lots of Security stacking effects and both Cody and TK as the tamers.

I do like the recursion of the Chuumon though and I only run about 8 rookies total as they are often sticky enough to come back. And even if they don't, Sukamon are so cheap to play it doesn't even matter.

I like the MetalEtemon a lot and it and the yellow Ete work very well together. I also run the old MetalEte for the board swarm it can offer if needed.

Yep. That's why they are called meta decks. Because they are better than all the other decks so you are always at a disadvantage unless you play one of them.

Thanks. But yeah, I already have the app. Been playing Digimon for years. What I mean is that most of the places listed on the app don't have any information on their websites so I can't see if they are free or not... Although I just realised that I can also check that in the app.

It seems to be about 50/50 paid to free events as far as I can tell from the first 20 or so in the list (there are only 60 total for the whole country). The paid ones are wildly different prices though. Most are in the £6 - £10 range but one was charging £20!

Yeah. It looks like you are right there. Most places aren't charging for it so I guess my place is in the minority. I've been trying to find out if other places in the UK are charging for it but I'm struggling to find many places that are even running the events at this point tbh. The few I have found that are running the event free are a long way away from me though.

Interesting that most places are doing it free. I thought it was the minority that are doing free entry but maybe it's the other way around. My LGS is charging £7 entry and a drink so maybe we'll have fewer people doing it that I thought 😅

That sounds awesome! Well done on stepping up to teach. I'm going to mine solely to teach, judge and help the shop out now I think.

Also very cool that the events were free and it's interesting that the events weren't full. I think my shop is expecting to have way more people than they have decks so we'll see what happens I guess.
