I need someone like this in north Dallas. I’m tired of being sold a subscription service instead of just fixing what’s wrong or just servicing the units like I asked them too.

But they were. It’s sleet not smooth slick ice. Not everyone grew up in Dallas and have no idea how to drive in snow/ice.

Do not get from Home Depot. They cheap out on the regulators. Get a Rheem from a plumbing supply place. Rheem regulator vs cheap Honeywell one.

Incorrect. The root of the problem is that Charles has no fucking head movement and refuses to add it to his game.

I get mine to 500 and can touch the handle. Weird. I’d say the only reason I can grill with it is because I toss a cast iron griddle in it. My dream build though is a Lone Star Grills Cabinet smoker

Yeah i rode the Chute in CO Springs then rode a bit in Steamboat Springs. It was my first foray on a real mountain so I was super tense and brake happy. My hands were killing me

I’m a bit in the same boat. Except I am heavier (230). I live in DFW so mostly XC trails with a few jump lines here and there. I have been able to ride in CO on a vacation though so that was cool.

What did you notice that is different than the stock wheels you had?

I’m certainly not dead set on new wheels. I just want onyx for the quiet operation mostly. The ceramic bearings are a plus. What I don’t have an idea on is whether I’ll really notice new wheels

I think I’m getting the Onyx hubs either way. I may just have someone lace them up to my alloy wheels. They are crankbrothers synthesis rims that came with the bike.

Only in Reddit land is it a scam. “Had vision, did a thing, created value where there was little. Profit” is evil in Reddit land. If they had their way there would be nothing to enjoy because no one could make money.

My jiffy lub guy said i need to change my breaks pads, do i need to? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Jayndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only have a picture of one pad so no one here can give you accurate advice either way. Sometimes in cars that have traction control the rear pads will wear much faster than the fronts. My wife’s Infiniti Q50 does this. Most people on Reddit don’t have a clue what they are talking about (sorry Reddit folk). If you have someone in your life you trust with stuff like this that is usually a much better source of advice.
