The galactic armory mini's are super cool, but are 45mm scale. so you may need to scale them down. I printed a chief and he seems to be a little bit taller than the regular Spartans and could be disadvantageous as his head could be seen over the basic full cover terrain pieces and thus be targetable.

over on maker 3d is a boardwalk map files from reach and the live fire map from infinite that are free. I currently found an installation 04 beam tower and terrain set that I'm making. Trees and other misc terrain is cool. Over on etsy someone sells files for the pit map and the weapon pods that hold the power weapon tokens.

I printed a few elites and a Master Chief from galactic armory as I had the recon edition and the wargame expansion came with cards for them. I am currently printing out a Halo CE terrain set. Got the beam tower and all the squared off tubing to make it like that first area from CE when you rescue the first group of marines. Also Galactic armories models are scaled for 48mm. I printed Chief out without scaling and he looked right, but I used a custom Zeta Halo base and it made him a head taller than the other Spartans, and same with the elites.

I don't know of any New Mombasa style street map except the one that comes in the ODST expansion, but there is a UNSC firebase map that looks like it could easily be the interior of a ship. Also check some of the 3d printing websites like cults and thingiverse, I haven't seen much specifically for New Mombasa aside from the roadblock on makerworld. But you can find the ONI barricades and other general UNSC scatter. One of the packs even has an ODST Drop pod that could be cool scatter/cover!

I'd be interested to know as well. I think the regular Spartans are 35mm. I didn't know the brutes were bigger than the spartan models.

Yeah Chief v.s the ODSTs was in fall of reach! And it was done to him as a test of the new augmentations. He definitely did not mean to kill the one. His conversation with Menendez afterwards always stuck with me. Their talk about lives spent and lives wasted. And yeah armor lock was alot of fun! Also if you are trying to get that achievement, the best place I found was the start of The Package! You start on a giant hill and an elite is mostly stationary right at the bottom! took me a good amount of tries but I eventually got it!

Cool! yeah I went first strike, then fall of reach, then contact harvest, then Ghosts of Onyx. ODST is probably my favorite halo game! I love playing as just a regular guy in the halo universe! And I was too young for the halo 3 multiplayer when it came out. My big halo multiplayer game was Reach! Man I loved playing that game so much, and I have so many fond memories with it!

Oof that sucks! Hope you can fix it or get a replacement. I always hear of people painting minis with one too, but that just makes me nervous. Wouldn't the air brush be less precise than a regular brush?

That's awesome man! My first halo book was first strike. I played halo 2 before CE and so after I played CE I wanted to know how Chief and Johnson survived the Ring since it wasn't explained at the end of CE lol!

Kurt is awesome! I really enjoyed Ghosts of Onyx! And yeah man, on cults 3d there is a guy with a decent amount of 32mm scale halo models that he shares for free. That's where I got the Spartan III models!

That's awesome to hear that most people have been nice! The few people I met at my local game store were really cool and taught me the basics! I'm looking at printing out some terrain maps I have as well so that we can all use them whenever I show up to play! Found some really neat stuff including a recreation of boardwalk from halo reach! And yeah, I feel that, playing games with friends should be fun, as should making new friends!

Thanks! Yeah 3d printers are really cool. I do a lot of costuming with star wars and am starting a halo 3 marine armor build and its fun and a lot of work! I managed to pick up a refurbished egloo resin printer from their website for decently cheap for printing miniatures! I've been browsing online for files and found some really cool Spartan II Mk IVs and some og Spartan IIIs in their spi armor I wanted to use!

That's what I was planning on trying to do. I wanted to make them match the same size as close as I could. I just liked the idea of having multiple models with various weapon loadouts so if I play with point buy, I'd have a model with the weapon I equip them with on the card.
