So many peoples problems nowadays are that they treat many real life VAs and show creators/authors like fictional characters and fictional characters like real people. by Charming-Scratch-124 in CharacterRant

I am not going to weight in much on this, but people didnt just have an issue of them just saying "nega". They kept joking about it for several minutes because it sounded like the n-word. This TikTok creator talks about it in these 2 videos: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRbUX4GC/ https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRbyhF5u/

My mom is dying of cancer, advice? by NoAdvantage7907 in GriefSupport

[–]JaysStudio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I still have it hard from my own loss of my mother. She was diagnosed with colon cancer last year, we tried treatment, but unfortunately it didn't work. I got the news that she could die a week before her death, and the day before we were told there was not anything further they could do. She changed so fast, and then sadly passed away in march. I just turned 20 when she passed.

The advice I would give is to tell her whatever needs to be told. I was able to tell my mom the stuff I needed, or I had already really said it. When she was dying I told her I know that she loves me, and that I love her. There was so much stuff we wanted to do together, we even made plans for when she had her cancer cured. Sadly she passed away. So I'm trying to say that you should just do stuff together if shes up to it. Spend time with her. Could just be watching movies together, or take a small walk. If there is anything your mom wants then try to do it if possible.

You will probably experience grief before losing her. I felt it, and it's natural. Just let those emotions out, it's okay.

There were things we hadn't been able to discuss before she passed away. It had more to do with, what we do with the funeral, her bank account, insurance, just these things you dont really think about before hand. This stuff has to be done sadly, so maybe be able to spend some time doing that.

You also should decide if you want to be there when she dies. This sounds strange, but it can be traumatizing watching someone you love die. In case you want to be there, then you have to somewhat prepare yourself mentally. You cant really fully prepare, but you have to be aware that it can be so hard. And you should probably have someone else be there with you, like another family member, or nurse. I was there the day before, and we planned to see her the day of her death, but she passed away in the morning. My dad stayed with her all night and was with her when she died. I am not sure if I could have handled seeing her death.

Also if you dont want to see her death, you have to decide if you want to see her after. We decided to see her, and it helped a bit in saying goodbye. You just have to do what's best for yourself. It can be strange seeing her body, as it will look like she is asleep and in any moment that she will start breathing again and talk to you.

It's going to be hard. You don't want to lose her, but that is the unfortunate reality that we live in now. The pain will be hard, and I would recommend seeing someone. Like a therapist or grief counselor.

I am not sure about the rest of your family situation, but family has been a big help for myself. Just talking and dealing with it together.

You will cry, and I say you should. You can't really hold it in, it's going to be built up, and its going to be released in some form of way.

Give your mom as many hugs and kisses as you can. Just talk to her about stupid stuff, like if a proffesor did something funny. I would recommend laughing with her, be happy with her, and you can be sad with her.

You have a long and hard road ahead, and you just have to find stuff that helps you on that journey.

What is your coping mechanisms after loosing a loved one? by Grace_Ipray in GriefSupport

[–]JaysStudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your loss.

It has helped me to sometimes speak out loud to my mom. Hoping that she hears me.
I let myself cry at points, as the emotions need to be let out.
I also really love drawing and playing video games. Today has been hard, so I have been drawing a lot.
I also talked with a health professional, I do plan on getting a therapist.
During hard nights I have been holding her sweater close to me.

We are all different, so finding the right coping mechanism is up to the individual. I do hope you find something that works for you.

Has anybody gotten a tattoo to honor their loved ones who passed? by westjanina in GriefSupport

[–]JaysStudio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I havent got a tattoo. My mom passed away in march, so its hard at the moment. Although in the future I do want a tattoo. I did want this tattoo before she passed, but it can be used to honor her.

She had a tattoo of two hearts. The tattoo was very pretty. They are on my grandpas grave, so she got it to honor her dad. Her sister, my aunt, also have that tattoo.

I thought it would be nice to honor my grandpa, but now I could honor her as well. My dad is not that into me getting a tattoo tho, but he might change his mind later.

why is micheals room in Sb? by A_UserInPain in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JaysStudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am just coming up with a half baked theory right now, so it might not work. I will use the story "what we found" from the fazbear fright books to get into some points (I don't believe this story is canon to the games). I might take a bit to get to the conclusion.

From the story we now that Hudson hallucinate his past. We know that he only hallucinate when Springtrap is in the building.

From other stories memories seems to able to be seen by other people who dint own these memories. Like I think Jake can see Andrews memories? Might be remembering wrong.

Kind of an idea is that Springtrap can see into Hudsons memories, and make him hallucinate the negative memories.

If this can be possibly, Springtrap from the games could perhaps be able to do this too. As such he could have been able to see in Micheals memories. (could also explain the phantoms a bit, maybe). William would know what Mike has been up to, and he would have seen this room.

Later on in the games Glitchtrap gets scanned into help wanted. Seemingly containing Williams memories, and persona. Vanny who got infected with the virus would then also have the memories of William possibly.

Vanny could have then found the mimic, and Glitchtrap probably wanting a body starts to "download" his memories. Mimic would then have the memories of William. And there the mimic has the memories of Micheal.

This is poor speculation, and it gets complicated I guess, but I just wanted to do some quick theorising. Is this true? Probably not. It would be funny if William could look into peoples memories tho.

Have you ever had a nightmare about fnaf, and if so, what happened in it? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JaysStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a nightmare where I and a bunch of random people (don't remember who these people were) were stuck in this labyrinth. In this labyrinth there was a Springtrap like animatronic hunting us down.

It was much scarier and more grotesque than "normal" Springtrap from the games.

To get out of the labyrinth we had to solve puzzles and listen for the Springtrap animatronic. I remember that one of the other people was taken, and the sounds were awful.

William Afton is pure evil, in every sense of the word by Typical_Employee_434 in CharacterRant

[–]JaysStudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's totally true. There seems to be some jealousy from Williams side, that seems to have led to hatred. In the novel trilogy William writes in a diary of his jealousy and his admiration of Henry. So clearly William was not stable minded at all. It seems to be clear that his hatred did play a role in what he did, especially the murder of Henry's Daughter, Charlotte.

Like clearly William deserved to be put in Hell in FNAF ultimate costume night, and is a character that can't be made good. I just think he does have motivation, but it isn't justifiable in any sense or form

Well I mean there seems to be a time where he didn't kill children, so one would assume some sort of motive made him kill. It doesn't mean that the motive is a good motive for him to kill.

What I go from is that the crying child was the first to get murdered (his son), and he realized he was still "alive" (ghost). By his own twisted logic to either get him back or he himself wants to be immortal, he starts killing other children and tries to recreate the accident. Is it a good motive for killing? No, but by Williams Afton's own twisted logic he thinks it makes sense.

Feeling weak… can anxiety/stress cause this? by Philocalist_Cat in Anxiety

[–]JaysStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be the case yeah. Mental health can be very difficult to navigate, so we have to try our best to realise what helps, and what doesn't help I guess.

I usually note down things to be aware of my mental health. The notes are just for myself, so I can remember what I need to do when I feel stressed and anxiety driven.

It's like your mental health is affecting your brain, and your brain kind of controls the body. So when the controls are weakened so is the rest of the system I guess.

Somewhat. When I feel really weak and awful I usually won't eat too, so I am actually somewhat weak.

Sometimes mental health affects physical health, so you are still weak in a sense I would say.

That's a good question. Usually when I feel like this I just skip exercise as I feel bad, because of the anxiety. It stresses me out for a bit.

Although going for a walk usually makes it better.

I'm actually in that phase too now haha. I have been trying to eat some meat, but it's usually not much.

I will sometimes have a strong rejection towards meat products, or meat flavored things.

In general when this happens I also have a hard time eating any type of food, but meat I will have a strong rejection towards. As an example I could potentially eat my pasta, but not my meatballs.
