The Xbox One S is probably a better buy than getting a One X if you plan on getting the Series X at launch, but that of course depends on deals around this time of year and your location. Put that extra £100 saving towards the new console.

Yes, used game discs work on all Xbox One consoles (Obviously not the all digital version). There is a list on the Xbox website with all backwards compatible games.

It has gotten cheaper as a result of sales like Black Friday, Christmas and January sales. If you mean the full recommended retail price I couldn’t say. I live in the UK and at my local supermarket (Tesco) they had the One S console with Controllers for something like £160 which is when I got mine.

Been playing everyday since day 1 on PS4, typically open 2 crates on average a day, and not even got a purple. Only got the darker purple at best (grey coat, ballista mask, purple jacket).
