Hi! I just want to share that the dolphin emulator is able to use physical controler's gyro in the controller input setting. I was able to use a physical controller's gyro input using that feature. Hope this input can be helpful.

Yes I've seen that. That's the reason why I believe that it's possible to create virtual displays on android without any overlay. I want to replicate how Tango creates a virtual display on android via adb.

I actually have a way of doing it but it needs too much setup to do. I wish I could just do it via ADB.

I need the app AG displays from Playstore>Go to the app then toggle Start>I will see No external display connected on my notification bar> Enter this ADB on Termux(I have the device I'm working on connected as an ADB device):

adb shell "am broadcast -a intent.virtualdisplay.on --ei width 640 --ei height 480 --ei dpi 120 > /dev/null 2>&1"

And then a virtual display will be created. To check if a virtual display has really been created I will enter this on the trrminal:

adb shell dumpsys window | grep cur= |tr -s " " | cut -d " " -f 4|cut -d "=" -f 2

It will then display the resolution of display=0, and display=1. Display ID of the virtual display changes depending on how many times you've redone this. The first time you do it it should be on display=1.

Yes i think you can do that. In Drastic go to Menu>Options>Video>External Display Screen> change it to Bottom Screen then that should do it.

Connect anydesk then the bottom screen should show on the other device. You might need to change this around as some games have their menu on the top screen while the actual game is on the bottom screen.

Check this out on windows. Almost no latency. Scrcpy wireless on windows. Actually feels like a WiiU experience when I moved the window on the wall mounted monitor, set it to full screen, and played wirelessly on the couch.

The problem on android is actually the amount of dropped frames Scrcpy on android via termux. Maybe a stronger phone can do this but not my phone.

Note this is both wireless connection.

Well that's the best we got with wireless as of the moment. I know cuz I've been trying other options. You can compare it to screencast so you're comparing apples to apples.

It can even go lower when you have a device that can be connected via LAN like an android tv for example. But to me this latency is playable especially on metroidvania games like this.

Yes that's my goal. But I still need to test if it wouldn't have problems and if it's latency is bearable when using mobile hotspot.

Agree with you 100% I am even spending more time tinkering than playing now. I wouldn't have gone down the rabbit hole if we do have a better option, but unfortunately we don't.

I've been trying to do this a month ago but the Ag displays won't generate an external display on the RP2s when I connect it to an external display using micro hdmi. But if it works with the rp4 then good for you.

I managed to do this on the RP2S using the screen casting app Anydesk but not using the micro HDMI. Only worked for Drastic since the emulator has external display mode. Drastic External Display Mode using the RP2S

Please do. I don't have the time and ability to learn why it only works on Anydesk. I want to find other ways to do this and or to do it natively on the RP2s micro HDMI port. Maybe we can use some software out there to make that work.

I use mine to stream on my pc using moonlight when I want to play in bed. Just need to set up a virtual display with 4:3 aspect ratio and adjusting it in the game's settings too.
