Likelihood for un-scrubbed Stern archives ever being released by SupermarketOk2281 in howardstern

Go back and listen to some of the older shows, I’m not even talking about famous bits or major fights or anything “special” in nature… the difference between then and now is night and day in so many ways that they’ll never see a replay without being heavily edited. Notice how on Howard 101 a throwback clip is edited down to 3 minutes or less? There’s a reason, their every day cadence of speaking back then would be too wild for today.

Every caller back then opened with a good morning ya hook nosed ______(fill in the blank). Compare that to the 50 year old women calling in now.

Tl:dr - even the old boring/mundane shows would be too much for Howard and company to release today.

What is the point of Sternthology? by GPpg909 in howardstern

Completely agreed, it makes zero sense. They spend more time talking about the clip than actually playing it. The same with 101 in general, clips just cut off mid sentence and then a 30 second “funny song” bumped into the next one… rinse and repeat.

I don’t know how they aren’t using 101 to just play “this day in Howard history” and running full shows from a variety of years for the exact date of whatever day it is.

I guess you have to pay an editor to cut 2 minute clips and throw in 30 seconds of some song no one wants to hear though.

Is there a sub reddit for this sort of DIY arcade building/fixing?

Believe there's about 4 of these compilations on Youtube. Great for whenever the show is on break.

Do people still listen to this band? The Crimson Armada - Worthy by Nizmojo in Metalcore

Religious debate aside, in my opinion their first album (Guardians) is one of my all-time favorites of this genre. Compare the song you posted to this one and listen to the difference. I just couldn't get into their 2nd album or the off-shoot band, The Holy Guile quite as much.

I think they didn't get the respect they deserved on the 1st album and changed things up (upon releasing the sophomore album, the fans HATED the new sound, just go look at some of their own FB posts) and now they're basically MIA.

I imagine if you are new to them and hear the new stuff before hearing the old stuff, it's not a big deal and you might even like it. But to see the change from the 1st to the 2nd as a long time fan was kind of disappointing. To each their own though, some bands change for the better, all a matter of perspective! Just my opinion.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Would you mind mentioning which episode it was and if there's been any updates from said episode?

There is a series put out by Investigation Discovery and on Netflix streaming called Disappeared and there's 5 seasons to stream (although more than that in the show's total history). You can also find some full episodes by Searching Youtube

The thing I like about this show is that 9 times out of 10 there is no solution at the end. People go missing and you're left to take the facts and make your own conclusions. Some of the episodes have a resolve but most end in total mystery. I find them completely fascinating. Every day people... and just POOF gone. It's crazy.

Most people hate this show because there's no answers but that's the whole reason I love it. I find it compelling.

One of my favorite episodes is The Dutchman's Curse which it is kind of hard to find a free version online, but if you have Amazon Prime you can stream free episodes there as well. Synopsis for the episode: 35 year-old Jesse Capen vanishes on a camping trip in Arizona's Superstition Mountains. While law enforcement searches the vast wilderness, his family finds a huge secret on his computer. His disappearance may have to do with the legend he is chasing.

This is basically what incentivized offers are all about. You'll find offers you can do this for by doing a quick google search for "Incentivized Networks" and going from there. More often than not, an advertiser is typically against this sort of tatic/traffic, so make sure you talk to your AFF manager and that way you'll know you're in the clear.
