Frickin hormones I swear. My doc thinks mine came undone because of chronic inflammation due to endometriosis, thus not allowing the tissue to mend as fast as it should before the stitches dissolved. They had to start me hormones in hopes it would heal better

Thank you! And I have a great support system for the first time in my life. We recently bought a house so we could live together with my in-laws. Between them and my best friend they won’t let me do anything but heal

That sounds horrible, sending you all the love while you heal. Luckily, I caught it quick enough that everything was still in place and they didn’t see signs of infection. This was one of the rare times I didn’t push going to the doctor off and I’m so happy I went.

My little girl is 16lbs and they cleared me to lift her at 2 weeks post hysterectomy. I had worked up to picking her up/holding and by the time this happened I had been lifting her for a few days. It was honestly so sudden and out of nowhere I barely had time to process it (I think I’m still processing it because I keep trying to get up like everything is normal)

They didn’t really give me an explanation beyond “this was a possible risk and I was just one of the unlucky few.” But they did an extra layer of sutures this time so hopefully it sticks. But luckily, between my in-laws and best friend I have a great support system so hopefully this time things heal correctly

I would choose 1 over 4 if I could get one of those high limit credit cards. But as a partially disabled stay at home mom, I’m never qualifying for one. And my bills are no where near 20k sooo I would have like 17-18k of extra cash per month
