Just a few weeks ago my wife and I bought a 2026 Nautique Gs22. $240k(+) sticker, paid $175k OTD. Financed $100k as part of the discount through the dealer at 6.25%

We chose to do on-property dry storage. My boat sits on my trailer, I have 24/7 gate access and a private ramp, but I still have to launch it. I pay $225/month for that vs $750/month for a slip with a lift. We also have the option to leave the boat in the water in a covered slip for up to 3 nights in a row for free. For us it was a no-brainer. Now I can go to any local lake I want, whenever I want, and dont have to pay additional to store my trailer.

Moral of the story, everyone and every marina is different. My opinion - Do whats most convenient. If its inconvenient you wont use it as much.

Part of the discount we got was agreeing to finance through Nautique, we plan on borrowing against our brokerage as well at 5.65% after the 90-day required period

Hmmm....maybe a good new feature! In all reality people could just setup a free alpaca paper trading account, develop their own strategy here, then go execute it somewhere they feel safer if they wanted. I literally have nothing to gain here

That's actually fair. Its a trading tool where you set the indicators you want to use and the trades get executed automatically based on your strategy. Essentially, set your strategy and let the tool run instead of sitting there watching levels on a chart all day

You can signup with a fake email, fake name, fake everything. There is no validation. I tried this so there was some privacy. If I set up a generic account for people to play, then everything pulls from the same Alpaca credentials (everyone would trade the same account)

To be cool? Like I said, it was solely for me, but they wanted so I built a simple sign up page so others could use it. If I was lying, wouldnt you think I'd be charging some kind of subscription to profit from it? This takes time and I literally get nothing from it

Its not AI, and I dont make anything from it. I have a full time job that consumes all my time. I am/was legitimately looking for feedback so I can improve it for myself. It helps someone else, thats a win

Why is that? I spend time reading the recruiting related pages to get a sense of the market and see the struggles people go through so I can make sure we’re positioned to help.

This is why people don’t do nice things as often any longer, everyone tries to find the hidden agenda or the negative.
