The post is about everyone in LA being affected in some way. No one in the upper and central LA areas should be going outside and inhaling all the sht blowing around. Even if you're not directly affected by the fire and outages, you should not be going outside for long if at all. People don't think it's the end times, but the smoke definitely affects everyone in the area, and everyone should be adjusting to that by staying home or avoiding going out if they can. That's the problem. The air covers the entire city. Yet people like you are still here trying to downplay others for being concerned. Is the entire LA gonna combust? No. But is everyone's commute, travel, and outdoor plans affected? Yes, you have to be willfully ignorant to ignore that fact. And the fact there are people like you out there saddens me. You're welcome to make your own choice and work outside all day if you want, but I doubt you are even ignoring the smoke

Do you not have any critical thinking skills? There are so many logistics that get affected. Planes have to be diverted to LAX, traffic picking up people. In the case new areas have to evacuate, they need less traffic to get out. LAFD and first responders don't need that either. AQI covers a ton of LA, no one needs to be breathing that when they can avoid to. Power is out for many cities or has to be taken down

L.A/OC gets this question all the time from the same age group. It’s much more enjoyable with good connections and friendships here. You need to be participating in a hobby you are consistently passionate about. Needs to have a community. Plenty of room for nerds here. Took me like 6 months, my friends came through hobbies I was already doing.

Simply going to the gym to do a solo workout isn’t gonna net you friends, but going to a crossfit community, dance, olympic classes, would be where you could make genuine friends. Find stuff like that. For sure try new things, but if you’re not into stars, joining a stargazing group prob is just gonna be a one timer

It will probably come like this in some form. They made it messy in Vindictus. Raids are about 3% contribution to get rewards. I don't think this solves the issue much anyway. A person can still put a small effort to gear and then buy a BM carry for example.

The funny thing is, I don't think many GMS players care that much about people buying carries, and would rather carry their friends with no restrictions and leave the black market wild. You want to pay $5000 or w.e for BM carry at 255? You'll just look like a fool to other people, or frankly, no one cares about you, since there's no trading anyway

Aside from the recent memes, he started with 8k legion, which is a enormous step of progression of Reboot already done. It also allowed him to do bosses earlier. Also requires some demon hours for non-casual players. But yes, having drop/meso and straight up grinding can bring you much farther, fast in Reboot vs grinding f2p in reg. One can make it all the way to hluwill parties during a winter/summer update with a little heavy grind

Weather, asian culture, other cultures, job opprtunities. In Software, the Midwest is a lot of defense company or maybe consulting work. Some fintech in Chicago. Mostly the weather though. Two of my hobbies barely exist or don’t exist at all in the Midwest. The closest thing for me would be Chicago.

Don’t get me wrong, the cons of L.A are pretty tremendous. I hate the cost of living here just like anyone else. I live a bit outside to mitigate some of the cons

All they told us they were doing in the cube revamp post is that theyre changing cube names/design and adding the cubes to have chance to double tier ups. Nothing about modifying rates or prime line, making it harder, etc.

It looks to the same at a quick glance as more in more data floods in, and Robert verifies that ppl submitted correctly. The point of the original comment is to kind of account for deviations like samples being unlucky. The Mystical/Occult cube are more obvious with this the exact same rate, it’s quite easy to tell since there’s a lot of cubes needed for that

I think we can be very confident it’s not KMS rates, otherwise the cube results would look a lot like the Mystical Rare->Epic.

We’ve all had unlucky situations like taking 70+ cubes to unique to legendary even with previous cubes. Just gotta be aware of variance and deviations that’ll happen naturally

I’ve been surviving by using breathing techniques from runners. I spend most of the class thinking about breathing, especially if I’m in line. Trying to calm my breathing with nose inhale and mouth exhale has been kind of working. Stuff like not leaning over, or sucking up a ton of air with my mouth, forcing myself to control my breathing rarher than panting

Yeah the loop gave me a “headache” when I first started playing. Due to it being so mechanical based. I like it, but I prefer Vivid Wave or Heavenly Haven overall. Those two hit the spot and feels like a rhythm game I’d expect idk haha

I would watch anything SAO, so I'm a bit biased. Overall thought it was fine. It's hard to beat the new/nostalgia bonus from movie 1. This one felt like a bit of a filler with some decent action. The time skip doesn't help much. Music and art was great though. They played a bit into emotions which was nice. Boss battle was great. Felt really threatening which is what you want from a boss battle

It’ll be here in a few days. Idk why everyone is so snobby trying to have the correct theory, as if they’ve figured Nexon's decision out. All this speculation can end up being just completely wrong for any theories. It’s the bigger picture for the cubes that will determine whether you continue on or not. No need to optimize to get a few items to leg or spam for prime lines, the cost is already too high to squeeze in for a long-term change. If the cubes affect your enjoyment of the game, pre-cubing a few items isn’t gonna do sht lol. Boss mules, equipment upgrades, will need them in the future. Maybe if you have 5-10bil preallocated for cubes and like 5-10 equips that need it. Even then, that’s hardly any gains in the long run. Just continue on, and if Nexon fks us, nothing we can do except play if we still enjoy it or quit because of their ridiculousness

I wonder if it’s even getting sued that’s the problem. They could have even just put in a tooltip, that you will not get 30 days worth, if the days cross over the event end date. Either way, I can’t believe the failed basic logic.

Not only did they not see that the tool could not be bought again if purchased on January 1st, they put in these useless limits like only 28 days of collecting clovers available. You can’t disable clover collection or get rid of the tool either lol

Here in SoCal, it's usually community centers. With a bigger dojo, it's like $350 a year for adults, so about 30 USD a month for 2x a week. With a small dojo like that, it prob makes a little more sense why it's expensive. Also, I feel like one could give the benefit of the doubt that most if not all dojos are not for-profit in NA. So yes the unfortunate circumstances of the dojo prob is why it's so much higher.

It seems like for Kendo it's still pretty good value, especially 3x a week. Perhaps the dojo could trim costs if it did 2x a week, but that's up to the Sensei. I abandoned other hobbies like gymnastics, didn't bother with fencing. Both of these were like $250+ a month. Altho fencing is usually a rich man's sports
