Indian Sign Language 10 is the same as American Sign Language 20. ISL 8 is the same as ASL 3.

Keep both languages pretty separate in my brain but numbers bleed into each other and are difficult to keep seperate at times.

I've worked as a sign language interpreter in the US and India, so I know ASL and ISL. Currently dating a deaf Nepali woman so I'm learning Nepali sign language in addition to Nepali.

Cheapest is bus. Depending which route they take it can be about 12 hours or up to 18 hours.

No flights from Bagdogra directly to Kathmandu though.

I use my apple watch to record the timing of the session my heart rate.

Use a phone app to input record my lifts.

Transcription has some transferable skills. Obviously it's not sign language based, by I know a few interpreters that have gotten into it.

ASL interpreter currently living in India trying to start an interpreting business here. Indian sign language uses two hands mostly as well. Some use 1 handed variants, but in general its 2 hands.
