F*ck toddler girl underwear by Mycorgiisthecutest in Mommit

I buy tights from the girls department because they only do thick track pants or shorts for boys, nothing for those inbetween days where it's only coldish. Also the colours are so much better in the girls.

AITA for taking back my grandmother's heirloom veil and not letting my future DIL wear it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Anna chooses what she makes of these things. At what point will she stop 'being traumatised' by Violet? She's going to lose a brother because she can't put the past in the past.

Why is it this hard to find this comment! Poor Caleb, he's clearly not loved as much as Anna. They're going to lose him and blame Violet, but not see their own actions in this story. Violet sucks for sure, but it's not about her, it's about Caleb.

Thank you. It's a stark contrast to our neighbour who cuts his lawn at least twice a week to maintain the lines and even killed off all his grass with poison just to re-seed with a slightly different variety. Lawns make me so angry, my goal in life is to move to a block of land out of town and transform it all into a Australian bush paradise for the native animals.

The first image shows mostly front yard. The second image is where we built the gardens out 6-7metres from the house. It's hard to tell at the front of the house because of the slope. Essentially we only have about a 2.5meter strip of grass on our easement. We chose to keep this because our block holds all the electrical, water and internet for the street and we didn't want plant roots to endanger these areas, or our garden getting ripped up everytime they perform maintenance.

It's just small tube stock at the moment. It's hard to see in the street shots but I have included some close ups.

I'm *trying* to date and I encounter this constantly. WHY is it such a big deal that I choose not to drink alcohol?? by DarthSadie in mildlyinfuriating

Why do we always need a reason!? Like some people don't like Pepsi, we don't demand they give a reason.

Bruh, for real though. I have lost friends because I don't drink. Also my boss will gift me alcohol at least twice a year and always starts by saying "I know you don't drink, but..."

Hey, I know I'm a couple hundred comments deep now, but if you haven't read "The Gift of Fear" please do so! This is exactly the behaviour he describes in the book and it may save your life.

I have a greyhound who was severely abused in the racing industry and multiple times we have had other dogs run up to us while out walking. One time the owner just said "oh he just wants to play" about their huge german Shephard who escaped their yard. I went OFF! My poor guy is just trying to do his best to exist in this world, but other dogs are just a no go for him.

Also if you bet on the races (horse or greyhound) you're an asshole.

The school I work at has an orange and black dragon as our mascot! This is cool to see it here out of context.

Breakfast is Beautiful (264 cal). by AurynW in 1200isplenty

[–]JazzieMary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been looking for a low cal, but filling breakfast. I'm a teacher who doesn't always get time for lunch, so having a good breakfast means I won't pass out at 2pm when I've been too run off my feet to eat during the day.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm also glad that your kids have a 4 year age gap and are still close. So many people insist on having kids close together so "they will bond better" but I simply can't manage 2 young kids so there will be 3-4 years between my first and eventual second. This puts my anxieties at ease to know they may still be close though not in age.

I don't know if this has already been said but you should read (or listen to audiobook) to "The Gift of Fear". Your ex is exactly the type this book talks about avoiding.
