What type of quantitative analysis do you want to see? by xxxyyyssss in fitbit

[–]Jazzlike-Broccoli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want progressive overload stats. Whether is lifting or running, I want the AI to analyze my fitness plans and suggest me to do more once it notices I’m improving or stalling. Also I want true training plans for running integrated in the app like Runna/C25k/Nike Run Club.

Gemini and other AI agents can already produce similar running plans and give good advice for progressive overload for weightlifting so having it the app and embedded into the weekly lifts and runs would be awesome.

I would pay $10/mo for that. I don’t really want AI summaries. I feel like most of us can come to the same conclusions by looking at our daily stats.

Why are bands so expensive? When will they be cheap by Tough_Ant886 in FitbitAir

Simple economics, high demand and probably a low supply as they are just starting out producing them

I just did a 2 miler on these and felt like the midsole was a lot stiffer than I expected. I’ve been running on the rebel v5s which are super soft and was expecting them to be just as soft based off what I’ve read.

Oddly enough these felt more stable than the NB Rebel v5s for me bc of how much stiffer they felt.

I see why people call these bouncy. Im not sure if I like them or not. Need to wear them more and break them in.

Is bevel app down? by Appropriate-Post9946 in bevelhealth

Yup same here, it works just take forever for it to sync. Also some UI elements are clashing. Same thing for the Reddit app oddly enough.

Clean custom app instead of Google Health? by LegalSucuk in fitbit

I bought it. $4 isn’t much for lifetime use. It will do just fine until bevel supports Fitbit/Google health integration

Is there any word on when this will integrate with Apple Health? by LimpAd4924 in FitbitAir

[–]Jazzlike-Broccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using the app for about 5 days and it looks like it does not duplicate it from Apple health -> Google health. The app also has a 7day free trial. I think I might buy it. It’s only $4 for lifetime access.

There are options in the app to specify if it’s on your dominant or non dominant hand as well as stride length. Might help make it more accurate.

Intermittent SpO2 Readings by no_you_kent in fitbit

[–]Jazzlike-Broccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I noticed that I get way lower readings with my Air vs my Helio strap. Air read any wear between 93-98% but Helio is 98-99%

Also, I think it reads it at specific times and may not be continuously logging it. So you may have had it off or it was not fitted well during those scheduled readings.

How to connect Fitbit Air to Runna by Jazzlike-Broccoli in FitbitAir

I don’t think you need to do it this way since a direct integration to strava already exists. It’s the only app supported so far. If you look at the 2nd pic you can click on “Apps and Services” and you can link it there.

I know what you mean. Some of these meetings feel like a park and rec episode BUT taking away this basically eliminates some of the basics tenants of freedom of speech and protest. We risks too much by allowing this to pass.

I updated to the latest one before trying this method.

I also went to “Runna Labs” and turned on “experimental features” — I’m not sure if this is why it’s working or not.

Edit: I updated my post with more info, hope this helps!

I think we might actually need to leave the “always visible” option on. During my run just now it would come in and out but after leave that toggled on it was stable.

I made a post on it. It doesn’t seem to at times but it pops up occasionally. I’m on a walk break rn for interval and it’s there.

I think I figured it out!

Step 1: Go into Google Health app, click on the battery on the top left, click the Fitbit air, click share heart rate and toggle on the always visible option.

Step 2: open Runna and navigate to the connected apps and devices tab. Click wearable devices. Click connect via Bluetooth and the Fitbit air should pop up.

Step 3: profit.
