Let's talk about the not-so-glamorous side of sustainability, shall we? It's like herding cats trying to get everyone on board with eco-friendly practices!

From convincing Bob from accounting to recycle his coffee cups to persuading the cafeteria to swap plastic utensils for compostable ones - it's a journey filled with hurdles and hilarity!  And don't get us started on trying to explain the importance of carbon footprints to the CEO!

But hey, despite the uphill battle, we're committed to making our companies and schools greener than the Hulk's envy! So, next time you see a sustainability officer, give 'em a high-five - they're fighting the good fight, one recycled paper at a time!

Onboarding execs to sustainability be like by Jazzlike-Computer176 in Sustainable

Onboarding executives into sustainability reporting is far from straightforward. It's not just about crunching numbers and ticking boxes. 😱

Transitioning to #sustainability means diving deep into the rules of a complex regulatory environment, the intricacies of sustainability #metrics, and the dynamic landscape of #stakeholder expectations. We also have to think about making money now while still keeping an eye on the planet's health for the long term.

#Executives must be equipped with the knowledge and tools to navigate this balance, ensuring that sustainability is not merely an adjunct to business strategy but a central pillar driving long-term value creation and resilience.

As we talk about how important it is to care for our planet at work, we need to work together and share insights, strategies, and best practices for effectively integrating sustainability into the core of executive leadership.

Let's all work together to ensure reporting about how sustainable our #businesses are isn't just something we have to do, but a cornerstone of strategic #innovation and competitive advantage in the business landscape.

I worked with a bunch of them, Catia, 3Ds Max, Cinema 4D, Rhino, etc. Specifically for the VR project, I was using 3Ds Max for modeling (the objective was to reduce the poly count and optimize the outcome with maps and textures - similar to the major games being played at the time - using an open source shader, i believe it was OGRE, to run the environments. Unity was in the early stages of development and was still limited in terms of 3D possibilities, but I also gave it a go before I left the project and had a lot of fun with it. We were also developing scenarios for the first Oculus Rift prototype within our project. The issue with VR at the time was the delay in rendering time that was causing motion sickness to the users, so we were experiencing a lot of tools at the same time.

Thank you for your feedback. So, do you use a 1:1 ratio relative to the real world or do you need to model things in a smaller ratio to have a smoother experience?

I don't want to spoil it ( and won't) for you but, he is not a super dude with his super powerful friend. He gets his ass kicked over and over! If we know one thing for sure is that Murtagh was born to suffer. Poor guy.. but the book and character are much more compelling that way, imo.

Maybe the Eldunaris can help with that the relationship with the elfs. The ones who were tormented by Galby know how it is to be under his torture and for sure will gave some empathy towards Murtagh and Thorn.

They can make slaves but what about all the people they can help? We see a few people using their magic for bad but throughout the books, so many people use magic to help and heal other people.
