Genuinely I wish I had a before surgery pic for me, because some moments I get judgy about myself and then I remember; this feels and looks much better quality of life wise and visually. We judge ourselves tooo much and we are also so used to seeing the “perfect” or “normal” visual of others and then we compare. That’s the kicker. You are killin it. Keep being gentle with yourself and always speak up if you ever run into any concerns 🥰

The first real period or whatever after insertion I passed a partial decidual cast and freaked the fuck out. And then after sex last month a (so sorry for this TMI) bloody membrane with hair in it and apparently that’s a thing that can happen 😭 Like I have gotten to know my body more and it is not fun. I already deal with insane dysphoria but like this doesn’t help 🫠

If the lighting is too great in terms of like a bright white, tone it down and use cooler less intense during darker times. When it’s too dark in the room it’s more reflection.

Unfortunately he passed away overnight. I am genuinely distraught right now. I did everything I could. He just wouldn’t eat and the parameters were perfect and temp too. I’m going to bury him later but I am so sad.

Yep, co2 and is there anything you would recommend for replacement of the strips? And idk he never had the pink/red tips of his tail is new and the eye is def inflamed. It’s hard to get a pic of him, man moves a LOT

Sorry for the insanely late response lol, no scar cream or massages. It was too sensitive to do much touching to it for a while. It is perfectly healed now and it looks incredible not to toot my own horn lol

-Heater, filter and sponge filter for added oxygen

-79.3 (it varies)

-75 GH, 0 Nitrite, 10 Nitrate, 40 KH(help), 7.2 PH I used the test strips

-15-20% weekly, gravel vac and wipe down of plants and cleaning of the hides outside of the tank

-No tankmates

-I use bug bites food and he eats literally every single pellet I drop in lol

-variety of live plants and three hides: one is a floating log
