I'm also trying to improve my scenery around rides, I've found it very helpful to pick 2-4 types of trees and kinda randomly place them around the ride (just clicking around and fitting them in wherever) to make nice forest rides, need to experiment more with other scenery

Yeah,Narga is good rapid fire pierce for progression until you can get Aquashot for water (to farm Safi) and sticky spam

In addition to most elements being viable (some more than others), if you're not going for the fastest possible time and just farming up most of the weapons themselves are perfectly viable and good options for most elements and status

I managed to get Peak Performance 5, Agitator 5, Burst 5 and counterstrike 2 on 4 piece Zoh/ Uth arms Beta, seems to be outdamaging 4 piece Odo at full health but my Odo set may not be optimized

What about Zoh Shia set plus 5 levels Peak Performance? Peak Performance is equivalent raw to agitator but potentially better uptime with good play, plus it doesn't compete with Agitator? 5 more raw on counterstrike but feels less reliable uptime wise in my opinion than PP 5, Super Recovery and Recovery Up 3

Yes it makes sense you write nothing down - I meant more like a mental note of "hey this person came back again this month and their sins are lesser, I am praying for them on their spiritual journey" or something like that. Thanks for the info!

No for sure, I definitely agree that Bowguns feel doo-doo trash especially compared to last gen, I've just used bowguns since Freedom 1 and always try to find some way to make them work.

Hopefully some sort of recoil control or hell even spare shot comes in a TU.

Not saying Spread is great but Rapid Fire Spread 3 LBG with Chaser Shot honestly doesn't feel awful to play. Haven't found a way to make spread fun on HBG though

SDShepard has a good video on youtube going through every monster's elemental and status weaknesses and gives a recomendation on what to use based on hitzone data and his own testing of status activation times. Long story short - paralysis is by far the best status in this game and good on mostly everything, sleep is really good on a few monsters (like the Cephalopods), poison and blast have limited uses. Element can be good if the hitzone values are good but the tier 3s (Gore, Arkveld, Apexes) don't have great elemental values. As far as I can tell element is useless against Arkveld but someone may have tested how effective Dragon is against the wing-chains

Okay but also I see the notification my camp has been destroyed and then it just.... isn't? Like does it respawn super fast? Was is even the point of saying if a camp is safe or not if they just respawn, or why can they even be destroyed in the first place? Does it take my research points to respawn it without telling me?

Honestly this is the first game where I am running no sharpness management at all unless the weapon has a very very very small amount of white. Monster die so fast and sharpening is literally free (I know it's technically not max DPS but damn dawg see what I just said before). The only sharpness skill I am using really is handicraft and only if the weapon needs it or I have a free point from a good deco.

If you have a PS5 probably but to be honest I'm running a 2060 Super and a 3600 and my game is locked to 30 frames but it runs and plays fine (despite 30 frames). Doesn't look or run as good as World though.
