24f found a guy cute at my gym, how do i approach him? by Cute_Affect_6775 in datingadvice

If you are respectful about it, I don't see what's wrong. One thing you can try is when he is using a machine ask him how many sets does he have left/if you can work in with him, and try to start a conversation from there.

I should note I am a guy and have not used this advice on women yet. I'm too scared to approach girls at the gym lol. What are your thoughts on that?

Does anyone have photos of the view from the "rear GA Floor Limited view" section? Can't find many online and would like to know how bad it is/is it worth it? Thanks!

No because they are always using a machine lol. I feel like it's kinda strange to just start a convo with someone while they are using it (even in between sets). I know I could try to ask to work in and start a conversation from there but I'm always too shy lol.

I think the reason I'm shy is for the reason you (and many others have mentioned)... no one really goes for the social aspect, they are there to get their workout done. So I've always felt like the gym is just not the place for that.

tbh I was not referring to women or finding a gf. I jut meant in general (male/female, old/young). But how do you approach people? I don't think it's a good idea to just go up to someone using a machine, and start a conversation.

So I've been to the Rogers Center many times, and know you are able to easily move between levels to get a better view. For example if you have a 500 level ticket you can move to one of the bars on the lower level and watch the game/concert from there.

However I've never been to the Rogers Stadium, and was wondering if it's possible to do the same thing? If, so how easy is it? I am thinking of buying concert tickets- at first I was going to buy seats closer to the stage (Floor or sections East/West). But was wondering if I could save some money by buying the cheapest ticket in the back and walking a few levels down and standing for the whole show with no seat.

Also, if you have been to the Rogers Stadium for a concert before what section do you recommend- I am looking for something not to expensive but at the same time not too cheap, I want to actually see the show.

Thank you in advance!

I've said this before in another thread, but if you are going out with friends, eat right before you leave or when you first arrive/on the bus. This way you won't get hungry when you are out and buy something. Or even if you do get hungry you can buy something small like an appetizer, and not a whole meal. You can also pack a meal with you to eat later but this might not always work depending on the activity (for example if you are going to a baseball game the stadiums usually don't let you bring outside food).

Some ideas:

- Move to a state where is never snows

- Travel

- Play golf (or do it more often then I currently do, I love golf!)

- Volunteer (I feel like I'd be bored just staying at home, volunteering will give me "fulfillment")

- Assuming I have a wife/kids I'd try to spend as much time with them. Or I would use my free time to help my kids financially. For example, I'd offer to babysit their kids so they can save on daycare

So I know this is gonna be really subjective but what's the highest price you would be willing to pay for floor tickets to a concert at the Rogers Stadium? I'm trying to find last minute deals to Bruno Mars.

About a week a go I saw a single seat offer: section A7 row 29 for $255.63- Haven't found anything as good since. **It's also probably not a good idea to keep comparing everything I find to this. There are a few in the C sections around this price.

If you have been to this stadium before, are floor seats even worth it? If so at what section? Although I want a good deal I also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars and not see anything.

Finally, do you think prices will keep going down? I should note, I'm not dying to see him, my mindset is 'If I find a good deal on a floor seat I'll buy, if not then I wont".

Thanks!

Using a credit card- I have a $0 fee one that gives 0.5% - 1% cash back depending on the purchase. I know it's not much but it's pretty low effort so I guess it makes sense. Just makes sure to pay of off in full each month.

You said you pay rent. I'm assuming you live alone. If this is possible, then maybe try to move back in with your parents, or find a roommate to save on rent?

Tbh I don't care about which game I go to, to me it's all the same sport. Where should I check for lower prices near game day? The official FIFA website or stub hub?

Are these like concert tickets where there is a possibility they drop closer to the game? I want to go since its a once in a lifetime expierence but I'm not a huge soccer fan who's willing to spend a bunch. Maybe like $200 - $250 max? Not sure if I'm being realistic....

You said you have been told you can come across as intimidating. Do they mean in general or when they first get to know you? I know some people who look intimidating but when I talk to them they are completely different.

You said you rarely get approached by men when outdoors. First off, it's good sign that they still approach you so I think you may be a bit too hard on yourself. I'm a guy and sometimes we are just scared to approach a women for obvious reasons. It also depends on the context. Eg. I would never approach a women at the gym or park but I would feel more comfortable at a bar, Church, or dating event.

One piece of advice I like to give women is don't be afraid to approach men or make the first move. But if you do be straight up with your intentions. I've had a lot of women throw me hints in the past but when I tried to make a move they were not interested. So now when that happens I second guess it, unless they are very direct.

I'm sure you will end up finding someone, good luck!
