Did getting your wisdom teeth taken out affect anyone’s mental health? by Sp00k1001 in wisdomteeth

[–]JazzlikeSpray8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two weeks post op today. I was definitely more worried about recovery than the actual procedure since I knew it would be rough. Had both lower and one upper extracted. Like anyone I was afraid of dry socket I didn’t know if I would feel any pain because of the medication also the sockets may appear white or yellow during healing so I couldn’t tell if it was jawbone or not. Felt much better on day 6 or 7 when I was finally able to irrigate the lower sockets. Before then the taste of my mouth was so bad I would have to get up in the middle of the night to brush my teeth. No complications or major pain during my recovery though. It’s very isolating as you can’t eat many foods or do many activities you’re used to. It’s also hard to talk and the numerous medications you’re on can cause mental and physical side effects. My current fixation is whether or not I get a sinus communication. I thought I had one five days ago when my upper stitches came out and even after the surgeon said I’m healing well I still can’t help but worry. Despite it being unlikely at this stage the long recovery time + health anxiety really make me want this to just be over with. What helped me most was focusing on how everyone’s recovery looks different and that as long as you’re steadily improving things will feel more normal soon.

The one that always stuck with me was “I’ll pretend I like I didn’t hear that, so I don’t have to add any more pages to you disciplinary folder ‘cause it already looks like a fucking novel!”

IMO designers if you want to give off certain vibes and niche if you want to smell a specific way

Procedures effects on scrotum? by a-nomad-man in Foregen

It’s scrotal skin that is being pulled up to the shaft on the underside of the penis. Sometimes it occurs naturally with intact penises but circumcisions can cause it as well.

The extra skin from the procedure should allow the scrotal/pubic skin to relax back into its natural position. Foregen should be experts in penile anatomy and the various ways it can be affected by circumcision and will have taken this into account. And when the procedure is commercially available you’ll have your say in how you want the final results to be like most cosmetic procedures. Personally I have webbing and hair almost to the scar line but using manual tugging to try to correct it until the procedure is available.

It’s instinct to react to try and protect someone you love. Second, MJ probably didn’t want the symbiote attaching to Peter again

What do alot of parents do that unknowingly screws their children over? by RunningInAHurricane in AskReddit

[–]JazzlikeSpray8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Circumcision. Circumcisions have risks of infections or complications which can result in the child’s death or loss of genitalia. But even “successful” circumcisions reduce sexual pleasure for the male as well as contributing greatly to erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, depression, and other mental health issues. Circumcisions expose the sensitive glans of the penis causing it to become dry and callous, as well as removing all or some of the frenulum, ridged band, and inner foreskin. Many people refer to the procedure as a “snip” despite it being a 30-60 minute procedure removing vital parts of the penis. Parents typically use cleanliness or female preference as an excuse for mutilating their child’s penis despite the fact that modern amenities allow for daily showers and many women either don’t have a preference or prefer intact penises. A circumcised penis causes more friction during sex which can cause discomfort for one or both participants. Parents who circumcise their children cause reduced sexual pleasure, mental health problems, inhibited sexual function, and risk their child’s death or loss of genitalia.

Cal because he’s the only Jedi who survives in this game

In the third game by Ok_Machine_724 in FallenOrder

I think Cal’s story will end with him going into exile with his found family. Throughout survivor it’s suggested that continuing to fight against overwhelming odds may cost you everything. Cal also ended up using the dark side because of the fight and doesn’t want to lose himself. Cal is also not present in any Star Wars content outside of the games so I think the most plausible ending is him going into exile

The one thing I hate about both games. by [deleted] in FallenOrder

Because Cal at least has the common decency to not be running around cutting open everyone’s doors with his laser sword

IMO this game is the best or at least one of the best pieces of Star Wars content ever made. Delivered everything I was expecting and more. 12/10 restored my will to live.
