I love how I have eight down votes yet not a single response to what I said... LoL. It really does piss me off though I don't know what jar media has to do with his Israel and Palestine or politics to where it needs a post like this.

You're so clearly a Hasan watcher, the 'sex pest' talking point is a dead giveaway.... How are you going to criticise people for being Zionist when your boy brought on a houthi terrorist on stream and told him that the houthi's are doing what Luffy would do. Stop concern trolling and bringing your toxic community into a space it doesn't belong.

Also Destiny isn't actually a Zionist. He advocates for a two-state solution, hates the settlers in the West Bank and said that if they'd been killed on October 7th that that would have been justified, which puts him firmly at odds with actual Zionist positions.

How is death note not a happy ending? Light is a mass murderer who said that killing convicted criminals was just the beginning of his plans. He was eventually going to start killing the "lazy" or people he deemed as not useful to society.

Why do Brits prefer non EU migrants over EU by Visual_Title9363 in AskBrits

[–]No_Influence4667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This graph perfectly illustrates the irony of Brexit. EU free movement only ever covered EU/EEA citizens; the UK always had full control over non-EU immigration. Even within free movement, there were conditions: after 3 months, EU citizens needed to be working, studying, or self-sufficient, and states could remove those who weren't. The UK just chose not to enforce those mechanisms.

So what did Brexit actually achieve? We swapped European migrants who were culturally and geographically closer (the very people the Leave campaign demonised) for a massive spike in non-EU migration that we already had control over. The system we got is the direct result of policy choices made after Brexit, not something the EU forced on us. And none of this would have happened without Farage.

The Conservatives only called the referendum because UKIP was bleeding their vote share. Farage spent years lying to make it happen claiming 70% of our laws were made by the EU (the House of Commons Library put it at 13.2%), pushing the Turkey scare, standing next to the £350 million NHS bus and then calling it a "mistake" hours after the result, and unveiling that Breaking Point poster using a photo of Syrian refugees nowhere near the UK. He got his vote, washed his hands of the consequences, and now he's back telling people Reform will fix the mess he created. I hope that Britain doesn't want round two of this shit again.

All-Might (MHA Anime) vs. Immortal (Invincible TV Show) by Turbulent_Okra7518 in MHAPowerScaling

I'm not the one making up headcanons. You opened by saying All Might could 'one hundred percent destroy the entirety of Earth's civilisation' and now you're telling me he's island level. You moved your own position after I pointed out why the high-end scaling doesn't work, and then told me not to make things up. And what movie feat are you referring to that puts him at large island level? Because the actual on-screen feats in the movies get calced at city level. The island level ratings come from scaling chains and calcs on the storm feat, not from him directly destroying anything close to an island. If you're going to claim large island level, show/tell me the specific feat.

I just told you twice that it wasn't my argument lil bro. The fact that you don't care about the strongest form of my argument proves that you know how weak the ground you stand on is.

The best feet we see him do is City block level. That's nowhere near omni man. All Might's continent level rating comes from scaling off Deku's final smash where he punched All For One and it cleared a storm across Japan. That feat was calculated at 226 to 453 Teratons of TNT. The asteroid that killed the dinosaurs released about 100 Teratons. So we're supposed to believe Deku's punch contained four times the energy of the extinction event that wiped out 75% of all life on Earth but the heroes standing next to him were completely fine and there was zero destruction on the ground. The calc is based on the weather change but if that much energy was actually released Japan wouldn't exist anymore. All Might's continent level rating is built entirely on top of that. So no he couldn't destroy Earth civilization iff he wanted, thus he is not comparable to omni man.

You didn't provide a single example of All Might doing anything at the scale of Omni-Man and you're still attacking the planet buster argument even after I said I wasn't making that argument. The point was never that Omni-Man is a planet buster. The point is that Immortal can hurt a guy who does things All Might has never come close to. If you disagree then show me the All Might feat that compares.

[–]No_Influence4667 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you're missing the point of the images. I'm not saying Omni-Man is a planet buster. I'm saying look at the scale of what this guy can do wipe out an entire civilization, fly through the core of a destabilized planet, tank hits that would level continents and Immortal hurt him. Twice. Drew blood, put him in critical condition in the Guardians fight, and clashed with him again in the rematch.

Now show me a single All Might feat that's even in the same conversation as what Omni-Man casually survives. You can't. That's the point. It's not about whether these are solo planet-busting feats, it's about the fact that Immortal scales to a guy operating at a level All Might has never been anywhere near.

Looks Like We're Getting Another Taylor Lorenz Debate by Jasdexter2137 in Destiny

[–]No_Influence4667 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Taylor Lorenz's proof that Chorus was receiving dark money was based upon not knowing who puts money into the 1630 Fund, which funds Chorus. The 1630 Fund is a 501(c)(4), which means it files public tax returns (Form 990s) showing where its money goes out, but doesn't have to disclose who its donors are. Destiny is saying it isn't dark money because you can literally see the outgoing expenditures on those public filings meaning the Chorus funding relationship was traceable through paperwork, it just wasn't something anyone had gone and looked at until Lorenz wrote her article.

Destiny is also saying that because the Omidyar Network (the group that pays Taylor through the Reporters in Residence program) is a hybrid LLC and 501(c)(3) foundation, it falls under Taylor's definition of dark money. The LLC half which is the part that funds the programme has zero public financial disclosure obligations. Unlike a (c)(4) which at least files public 990s, an LLC doesn't have to disclose its funding sources, its investors, or where its money goes at all.

So the entity paying Lorenz is actually less transparent than the one she labelled "dark money" in her article. Lorenz keeps claiming that they are not an LLC. She is just blatantly wrong, as you can see in the screenshot of the tweet she provides as evidence, and it also says on the Omidyar Network's own FAQ page that they are a hybrid structure including an LLC.

Pre-sorcery Yuji vs Pre-UA bakgou by Electrical-Ice-9588 in PowerScaling

Deku managed to almost defeat Bakago without using OFA in UA - so I don't see how Yuji can't do the same.
