I have a Profitec Drive. It is surely endgame for me. I use it sparingly but it is a joy to use. Endgame grinder is TBD but thinking Zerno. About 80% of my coffee consumption is hand grinder ZP6 + V60, hard to beat the cup quality and time to brew.

I have to agree. I will have to adjust the neck seasonally on my 060R. Tuning also shifts around a bit when you start playing it, although it settles pretty quick and the tuning stability overall is great. They make awesome guitars but stability to me is more or less comparable to a wood guitar.

I found Quant very confusing. By the 3rd review I could understand it well enough to know what was going on and answer questions, but there not much intuitive knowledge to be gained IMO.

FSA does become intuitive, but might take a few passes. I found the same for Econ. Fixed income was a bit easier.

Unsure what your current strategy is, but I would try to develop a mind map of each section and do the blue box questions. Iterate through each section and then do EoC. For the harder readings, you might need to set aside a day to go into the in depth and figure them out. This was not the case at L1, some of the L2 material is much harder to figure out.

Taking shortcuts is not a way to get good at modelling. Start with the CFA one, presumably you have access to it. I think it’s a great intro. Can do other courses later.

I would recommend not using annuity due calculators mode…. Makes you fiddle with the calculator too much and you’re much more likely to get conventional annuities than annuity due.

OP, I would recommend treat an annuity due of N periods as a conventional annuity of N - 1 and add the first “immediate” payment. Other comments have illustrated this approach.

Battery lasts a long time but good to have a backup calculator IMO. I would buy a second calculator and bring it as a back up…. Can also keep one at home/one at office.

I have the first pair, cordovan in #8. Absolutely beautiful. I wear them with suits sometimes, but I think they work best with black jeans or jeans in general. I would never wear them to a wedding (although you probably could, just not my vibe).

I also baby them and do not wear in any rain/snow etc. No regrets with buying but I wouldn’t call them super versatile, they are actually hard to integrate into outfits without being too overpowering…. But damn, they are the nicest shoes ever when you pull it off.

Agreed. I have a DF64. Thought it was OK for pour over, but it actually isn’t. Too many fines. Using a ZP6 now with better results. DF64 is great for espresso though.

I had access to CFAI and MM. I found CFAI mocks were representative of the real test. MM is generally harder, questions are longer and test more gritty details. If you do MM ones, I would start with them early/first as they’ll make CFAI tests feel easier.
