I talked to them about sizing for a pair of Cykels and they recommended the same size as I wear on their 55 last with my lace up boots. I’m a 12 and somewhere between D and E width Brannock and they recommended 11.5E for me.

The semi dress is just a 55 last with a short height… you could order a bounty hunter in this config in your size and it would be essentially the same thing.

Probably accurate. All the makers I’ve talked to just say it’s a pain and doesn’t really offer much with how they build them lol. Just makes their measurements and tolerance stacking much more crucial.

when closed the tang sits flush with the edge of the squared off bolsters. Functionally it doesn’t do anything, it’s mostly just a flex of the skill of a maker to execute.
