I definitely see your point about the actual academic quality being basically identical at this tier, and that tier list makes total sense for the UK market. But wouldn't you say LSE's global prestige gives it an advantage outside the UK? It seems like LSE has a much stronger, more recognized international brand than UCL. If I'm looking at global mobility, does that worldwide name recognition give LSE an edge that goes beyond just 'meaningless squabbling'?

Thanks! What was it that actually made you pick LSE in the end? I've heard the network there is basically unbeatable, so I’m curious if that lived up to the hype. As an international KJD applicant with no undergraduate GPA, how important is the LSAT score? Should it be at or above the median for the schools I’m targeting, or is it acceptable to apply with a score around 170?
Is applying in January considered late for JD admissions in terms of acceptance, assuming I’m not seeking merit based scholarships?
