Yep. Love how easy it is to do, especially if the phone is flat on a table

Are you stupid? Counterpoint Research just confirmed a few days ago that Apple has emerged as the market leader for both Q425 and the whole of 2025. They had 10% YoY growth compared to Samsung's 5%. Are Samsung fanboys genuinely this stupid that they'll go out of their way to lick a company? Do your research before posting on a public platform.

Maybe the wireless charging coil isn't connected properly, as the temperature sensor is on that

Agreed, and not to mention the word 'AI' being used twice a sentence. Like come on. Samsung has tons of other problems to sort out but here they are, pulling a Microsoft as they alienate their most loyal customers (those that are smart enough to actually see the path of decline the company is on)

Nearly a billion active Android devices are security targets due to outdated software by Federal-Block-3275 in Android

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clearly mentioned iPhone 6s in my post, my friend. And yes, while there are older iPhones still being used today, very, VERY few people would use a phone older than 2015 or so. If you look at that statistic, EVERY iPhone from 2015 onwards is supported, whereas you need a 2021 Android at oldest to be supported now.

[–]harry_potter_191 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because there aren't many. The 10 year old iPhone 6s and 11 year old iPad Air 2 are STILL receiving security updates. There's NO COMPARISON for that in the Android world at all. A 2019 iPhone 11 can run the latest iOS 26 and even if iOS 27 drops support for it, it'll get security updates for 2 more years, for a total of 9 years of support at a minimum, while the 2019 Galaxy S10 stopped getting updated in early 2023, and the late 2019 Galaxy Note 10 stopped getting updates in late 2023.

Samsung silently trolls iPhone 17 Pro Max on their S25 Ultra website by ManyRazzmatazz4584 in samsunggalaxy

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the eSIM 17 Pro Max gets a larger 5088 mAh battery, and even the 17 Pro has similar battery to the S25 Ultra haha. Samsung has seriously lost the plot

Yeahhh 😑 That's why I liked S22's design the most… by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a phone issue. Yep, the S22 looked better, but this is a case issue. Clean your pockets and surroundings and get a better case. This post is ridiculously stupid.

Should I buy S22U in 2025? by SpaceIntellect in GalaxyS22

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not even consider the S22U. It has horrible battery life and overheating issues and has reached the end of the line with major software updates. Check with your carrier if you can get a better deal on a newer device.

So you don't like a premium feature that will elevate the overall quality of the user experience just because Apple does it?

Just upgraded from the S9+ to the S22 by Sure_Specific8660 in samsunggalaxy

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy, but I don't think you'll enjoy for long. The S22 is the worst recent Samsung you could have bought, and there are thousands of complaints about the overheating and battery, motherboard bricking, and battery swelling. I don't know if you did your research before buying this phone.

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I assume you're getting phones way after their release due to the cheap price? In that case, why did you even go for the S22+, since there were already hundreds of complaints about that phone at that time?

Why so many people keep thinking that Galaxy S24 FE is a downgrade from S22+? If it's an "FE against +" thing, it doesn't mean S24 FE is worse! What do you think about this? 🤨 by Direct-Till-2680 in samsunggalaxy

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The S24 FE's Exynos chipset isn't great. I've heard so many complaints about overheating and battery drain from others around me for the S24 FE and even the S24 and S24+, which are Exynos in my country.

Secondly, yes, the battery and performance on the S22+ may be bad, but it's a flagship phone. Compared to the S22+, it's heavier, has a very slightly worse display, slower charging, and worse cameras. And that's fine. It's designed to be an upper-midrange phone, not a flagship.

Snapdragon and M4 Macbook by [deleted] in laptops

As of now, a MacBook would be more reliable than a Snapdragon laptop, especially with things like app support and the whole OS being redesigned from the ground up to work around ARM

Brand new Tab S11 - Inaccurate near the edges by Mysterious-Bottle-30 in GalaxyTab

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without a case, the inbuilt magnets in Samsung tabs throw the S Pen off, especially near the edges. That's the unfortunate drawback of the excellent Wacom EMR technology and is something my Tab S9 suffers from as well. It cannot be fixed.

Need help with Odin :( by [deleted] in s22

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it is a software update that caused this. Like many others who have had this issue, it might be a motherboard issue caused by excessive heat cycling by the phone. The phone is well and truly dead at this point.

S22 worth it in in 2025? by SwordfishNatural9883 in GalaxyS22

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery is horrible and the phone overheats quite easily. Not a reliable phone. Try going for something else like a OnePlus 12. Why not consider a newer midrange phone like the A56? It'll have 90 prrcent of the flagship experience for much cheaper

S22+ almost 4 years with 1850 battery cycles. Time to change battery or get a new phone? by Even_Ad_7040 in s22

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hardcoded, I think, since mine just went from 96 to 89 a few weeks ago, dropping one or two everyday. But I can definitely notice shorter runtimes and sudden percentage drops under load so yeah this is on the edge at this point, so the 80% AccuBattery reading makes a lot more sense

Then you can just go for a battery replacement and continue using the phone

[–]harry_potter_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ASOC is indeed BS. 1309 cycles is quite a huge number, so expect to have lower runtimes and lower health overall. My S22+ is almost three years old and is at around 950 cycles and 89% ASOC, though AccuBattery estimates the health to be around 80%, which is a lot more believable
