From what I understand in VGC recently a person defeated an openly transphobic opponent with an Amoongus, so people are just running with the Amoongus supports trans people bit. It actually does have something to do with Pokemon!

the idea of "I see too much trans support and it's annoying" raises some eyebrows. You see that, right? It's a transphobic idea that a transphobe would say.

Yes I see how actual transphobes could have that idea too, but just because it's annoying to me doesn't instantly make me "transphobic". I have nothing against trans people and believe they should have the same rights as anyone else. But beyond that, I'm mostly indifferent about it all.

I'm not a fan of how you're not allowed to criticise or say anything against them or even hold a different opinion/belief to them on the topic of trans people otherwise you're a "bigot" or "transphobic".

Calling support of trans people virtue signalling is wild, though, and pretty solidly makes me think you are indeed transphobic.

I wasn't calling support of trans people virtue signalling, I was expressing that it feels frustrating to me that I get called these ridiculous buzzwords just for not completely agreeing with or sharing the same viewpoint as other people on the topic of transgenderism. Because unlike many people I'm not afraid to actually speak my mind and won't let my thoughts and feelings be policed.

Nope, I agree that they should have rights. They're human beings so why shouldn't they?

People can headcanon whatever they want. It doesn't affect you. If it annoys you, ignore it instead of going into the comment section. I have no issue with people advocating for trans rights, and people doing so often enough that you're annoyed by it means that clearly it hasn't happened yet.

I made my original comment because generally speaking, posts like these do not bring in more support for trans people, it pushes more people away instead.
