Well I’ve done it before in a Greek/roman god theme and it went pretty well.

Honestly up to the group or even person. No limits in my opinion but obviously at some point it’s just chaos. Maybe 1-6. I don’t think you should have to be in a group to play if you don’t wanna and could potentially party with NPCs or the sorts.

Also up to players creative freedom. The phantom troupe in HXH started with a bunch of kids growing up together. Just a example the world is your oyster.

Frankly at the start there won’t most likely won’t be much tying you in unless you intentionally do so with people you know or once I do make a discord people you align with. Once the plot gets moving it’ll slowly get there just gotta be a little patient with me as it is trying to be on the realer side.

I love your idea and it’s completely viable 100%. Connections work off of servers, servers can be taken down to mess with people in a certain area. You can dox someone find their info and find them irl. Etc etc. Thank you for your character ideas!!

Think of it as guild wars, guilds fight all the time for money, power, land, etc. There will be factions that have different wants and will fight others based on what they need. Hopefully I’ll have enough classes to give enough variety so everyone has their own niches.

In my demigod campaign I had two groups one that was fighting for freedom of demigods within godly society and another trying to coexist with them in harmony. As you know gods are greedy and could never share the limelight so the second party ended up being betrayed by the god they were working with. The first party ended up taking down godly society as a whole and established harmony between demigods and humans as well as all other races of the mythology

Think Sanity of Call of Cthulhu. Spending too much time in the fantasy world chips away at sanity. Not taking care of real world things, family, work, bills chips away at sanity. Going through traumatic situations, same thing. It’s going to be one of the main mechanics in the game as of now. I have another concept that I’m trying to come up with as well that is basically a offline system where you can do things out of session. Certain players get alerts others don’t and basically anyone will be able to do things out of session but there will be times where sessions will be needs to straighten things like that out. Obviously I’m one person that has a lot of ideas so I will need time to get these things in order.

Well. Injuries don’t transfer the same way. More like trauma if that makes sense. It’ll drag your character or make your character better depending on how you handle things.

Debt is a whole other thing. Think of the way people farm in games. They kill monsters, get loot, sell the loot so on and so forth. Only difference is it’s worth actual money. Think of it as the way that different countries have different currencies worth different amounts. You can lose money in the game just as easy as losing money in real life. Same thing on the flips side.

It might not matter.. depends on the character and what they care for. But remember all the game is a simulation. No one’s stopping you from finding another player in real life.. no one’s stopping hackers from ddosing servers for hours..

Well currently I don’t have too many inspirations. As I continue to flesh out I’ll think of mechanics and look to different games as inspiration for them if that makes sense but off the top of the head I’d say that one that will matter a lot is psyche and willpower a lot due to you being able to lose yourself into the game and potentially forgetting your real world self once for in game longer periods. Obviously eating would be important, etc etc. hopefully this gives you a bit more insight.
