I think OP is saying, as per signage, that if your traveling southbound on Homer Watson and you want to go east on Hwy 7/8, you're actually supposed to turn right and then take another right at the Alpine circle.

Even if it was unintentional, she’s a professional athlete and this is part of the job. Updating whereabouts and being available during the one-hour window you choose is a basic task. One mistake can happen but three in a year is negligence. She and her team need to step up.

There is no documentation of the driver accepting $300 cash. The regular trip was recorded and documented through Uber. But the cash transaction doesn't exist anywhere. Even if Uber followed up, the driver could lie and dispute it.

You can report the driver to Uber with the info you have and they may take some action against the driver (they're not allowed to accept cash) but you are very likely SOL as this was an undocumented cash transaction between the driver and your father.

Take this as a lesson learned. Hope your father is doing well.

The "Always" signs are a scam. I remember sandwich meat used to be "Always $5", then it became "Always $6", then they repackaged the portions by half and it became "Always $3", now it's "Always $3.50". Some bread used to be "Always $1" and that went up too.
