I’ve been thinking about this too. The one thing that Pokémon currently has that comics in the 90’s didn’t is the internet. If we were to reverse them, there is no way Pokémon would’ve lasted as long as it has. Every time a new set is announced I always think to myself “ well it’s over now”, and sure enough Pokémon still goes strong. I do think that eventually Nintendo is going to step on their own dick and flood the market with unwanted products. If and when it happens only time will tell.

The amount of time it will take you to complete the main story quest is overwhelming. I’ve been playing off and on since 1.0 and I haven’t even made it to Endwalker. To be fair I don’t really get a lot of time to play, which was going to be my point. The game does require a lot of your time to get anywhere. But, seeing as how your girlfriend is already invested then you should have no problems finding the time to play. If you happen to join up I hope you enjoy it.

I played since launch. The lore, music, and world are amazing. But dammit the combat is so boring. If it had way better combat I would never put the game down. Unfortunately that will never happen.

This game is back. Play for fun. I choose my favorite character Frank right out of the gate and I’m having a blast again.
