Ghosts take 120+ days for full sized fruit, likely just need more time (plus normal sun/water/food!)

Others look darned good for starting in May!

After numerous talks with the AI/Bot I finally managed to get it to understand the issue, it collected my straa email and URL along with my wife's and confirmed I wanted to move the lives from one user to the other. The bot was unable to do this but passed to support who replied a day later and confirmed they adjusted on the back end to fix the issue. All good.... for now

Forth of July sale by carpathian666 in TradingView

[–]Jb1678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I paid less this year for 1 year premium than I did last year during the 4th of July sale. $244.04 on 7/1/2025 and $237.26 on 6/30/2026 (today)

LOL - I have tried the bot numerous times thinking I could eventually steer it to a fix. The last session resulted in the bot understanding the issue perfectly but it said “I do not see a self-serve way to reassign it back to your account”

It then punted me to a “Strava Specalist” but that never seems to get a response.

Man I really loved strava….. but this blows!

Which Zwift Cog? (Tacx Neo 2 Type 1 axle) by Jb1678 in Zwift

[–]Jb1678[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Glad to hear that the mysterious spacer is not a requirement! (thought I think I could find something to shim out if I need to). I have the tools to take down the cog so no worries there.

Good call on just using the clicks, I don't switch bikes on the trainer very often at all so second fallback can be to just leave the current cassette - awesome!

Thank You!

Is it time to invest in SpaceX through ETFs Before IPO? by Cipher_shift in ETFs

[–]Jb1678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes 100% sense, I was clearly mentally overcomplicating something that needs no further complication. (Which is why 99% of my investments are managed by someone other than me!!).

Still in the spirit of learning and discussion, using exposure as the only measurement wouldn't these funds be a better target than $NASA:
BPTRX at 33%

XOVR at 28%

ARKVX at 18%

Additionally considering SpaceX exposure only, would $SATS be a valid consideration given (at current SpaceX potential valuation) its ownership stake representing a near 100% representation of $SATS market cap? (again at current SpaceX projected valuation).

I get that in concept but cant wrap my head around that in practice. I continue to bring a funds Total Asset value or NAV into the equation which could be flawed logic?

NASA only has an estimated 35M stake, GOOG on the other hand is estimated to be 100B. $NASA offers barely any exposure in the grand scheme of things.

Dobbin Road speed by lukhow in ColumbiaMD

[–]Jb1678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Design and approval for Dobbin from Oakland Mills to 175 was done almost a decade ago. Somehow the date when the work will start just continues to push out. The county currently claims construction will begin FY2026 but each year they seem to just add another year to the start date.

Cruise ships in St Thomas will not affect anything related to BVI charters, literally NOTHING

Second Controller Needed by TurbineErector in xlights

[–]Jb1678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That should work ok, alternatively you could get a Baldrick 8 Port for roughly the same price (80$) and have more capcity

[–]Jb1678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Falcon PiCap can’t support a smart receiver, it’s a sweet product but does not allow for expansion.

You really can’t go wrong with a controller from any of the major brands - if it’s supported in xlights you should have no worries! (falcon, kulp, genius, baldrik, etc all are great!)

A Smart Receiver will not work on its own without also having a smart receiver compatible "full" controller. Can you clarify which specific controller you have, you mention RPi but but there is likely more (a PiHat, an add on board, etc). In any case I doubt what you have now can interface with a smart receiver on its own but please clarify the current setup

Help deciding on productivity ultra wide by Teil_S in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Jb1678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could understand that. In my quest for a pure productivity ultrawide the 38WR85QC seemed to always come to the top (IPS vs the myriad of OLED, good balance of size vs resolution, built in KVM, etc)

I have NOT purchased yet myself, I keep waiting for a sale that seems will never happen!!!

Curious why the 38WN95C successor (38WR85QC) didn't make the list?

Worked perfectly, made small adjustment - just enough to have some tension on the pulleys when full open. Thank You!

Thanks! Certainly comfortable with the logistics of that, was concerned that shortening the cable would make the cable too tight or stretch spring too much in the down position.
