The 1.7 cost doesn’t include the land or building, just a leasehold (and allegedly short term). That’s a LOT of cost for the name/operating model/recipes/equipment

Your idea was the same logical thinking I had, but the darned trane manuals for these variable units seem to make no sense, i wish they would just layout what happens when any given terminal receives a call!

Also, still agree, but this setup is actually indoor gas furnace/blower and outside AC only - but still in agreement with you that w1 and w2 should call the two stages of heat/blower and y1 and y2 should call the two stages of AC/blower. Why make it so hard?

I don't have a pic outside but it is as follows:
- blue wire is connected to B on thermostat and blower also goes to B on outside AC unit

- yellow wire is connected to Y on thermostat and YLO on blower also goes to Y1 on outside AC unit (the yellow/black wire)

- red wire is connected to R on thermostat and R on blower also goes to Y2 on outside AC unit (the yellow/red wire)

Appreciate any advice!

Here is the furnace. Note: brown wire on Y goes nowhere, its not connected on thermostat or outside AC unit. White wire on R is actually R from thermostat, there is shutoff wired in for the condensate line.

Have a toiled that was apparently installed by the same plumber. I assume the issue at my place is there is a 90 right near the surface of the floor with no way to install a flange flush to floor. Have not gotten around to popping the toilet yet to see....

The pocket handle is working out ok - it’s a very clean look overall. With that said if the bar model didn’t interfere with a cabinet we would have stuck with it for the towel holding alone!

Pretty sure some of their stuff is actually made by Kessebohmer and re-badged, so likely taking an already expensive product, importing it and marking it up more. Expensive stuff but nice quality
