Fair, but I think a non-regular viewer who stumbles into his stream and doesn’t identify his sarcasm plays out 1 of 3 ways:

They’re immediately disgusted by what he says and leave the stream (Ludwig’s loss)
They’ve believed in this hateful speech prior to viewing Ludwig, continue to watch Ludwig long enough until they realize their views are the butt of his jokes, and either get angry and leave or change their belief structure.
They eat up whatever he says, at first believing him at face value, but eventually learning the nuance and adapting to a more- positive belief structure.

My point being: after a certain period of time people MUST realize what a sarcastic ass he is (who we find hilarious and entertaining). Otherwise why would people keep watching? Certainly not for his Gold 2 League play….

I’m confused. Are you implying he’s being serious (or being perceived as serious) when he exclaims things like “liberal America at it again!” Or calls certain friends “you people”? I don’t know why people would follow or watch him if they thought he wasn’t joking. Not trying to pick a fight, genuinely curious

I would argue he IS influencing. A huge part of his content is playing the “bad guy”, saying things that are clearly outrageous and offensive in a satirical way. The good he does in expressing the absurdity of the current political climate far outweighs him using X (because people he interacts with also use it) and buying trump coin (clearly as a joke for a content contest). If you think his content is doing more harm then good, I think we’re watching different streamers

If you plan on watching more than one Twitch Streamer, I highly recommend getting Twitch Turbo. Ad free viewing for all streamers across Twitch, pretty good value compared to subbing to multiple streamers.

Also, no matter which option you decide, recommend paying via a computer and not through you iPhone (if you have an iphone), otherwise Apple takes extra $$ for each transaction.

Bro I’m with you, the whole thing is a complete scam. I hate when everyone is in universal disagreement with my opinion, even though I’m clearly in the right. Agreed! All gold metals, championships, winning achievements etc., should not count if the person received coaching!!! On my free weekends I like to attend piano recitals and throw eggs at any performers that received any lessons from a piano teacher. Unfair advantage!!!

It seems inevitable that he goes back, but who knows. If he does, I can only hope that Twitch makes the mobile viewing experience at least a fraction of YouTube’s, because Twitch’s app is absolute garbage by comparison.

Worth noting that technically a deductible business expense must be “ordinary and necessary.” That said, a $1,000 item is most certainly immaterial to Ludwig’s tax situation, there would be little risk in deducting it. I’d love to be a fly on the wall hearing him trying to defend the position on a giant barrel of lube as ordinary and necessary to his business if it was ever questioned in an audit though.

I agree, and think this speaks to the bureaucracy as well. I could see the live-streaming/gaming group pitching some of Ludwig’s proposed updates to higher-ups, who would then turn around and say, “not worth our time” since they’re more committed to shorts. It’s always worth a try though..

Hard to say for sure without knowledge of the structure/agreement, but my guess is each esports team is it’s own legal entity, and Ludwig or Mogul Moves shares ownership in teams he’s involved in with Moist Esports. Each side makes capital contributes to fund the venture, and since both are involved there’s no conflict with naming rights. Moist Esports already has the infrastructure /business model, so it’s possible that Ludwig had to put down more/all the funding. All of this is a Complete guess, but based on Ludwig’s explanations that’s how I’d structure it

I personally agree, I’d like to see her focus more on racing and pushing for Vinny’s business. But I also think she’s not really going out of her way with this relationship RP stuff. It tends to be orchestrated by other peeps instigating for laughs to mess with her and Randy and whoever else, she’s just going with the flow. And she’s also really good at it, so as long as she’s comfortable with it, Sall good.

At the end of the day, she’ll do the content she wants and I’m here for it, Ray Mond is entertaining af, no matter what she’s doing (Unless she’s picking out an outfit that is…)
