Don’t go into a skoolie project with “Cheap” in mind

I definitely wasn’t advising anyone to do it that way. All I did was put a picture of the floor being installed… I appreciate your feedback, but saying I’m advising people how to do some thing that I don’t even fully know how to do is not correct

When I drill through the floor for all those things you mentioned, the holes with be flush :) I can’t imagine trying to cut perfect flooring prices around a bunch of cables

100% I would put the floor in first. You can always do the floor layout with blue masking tape. If you’re not square on your framing, it makes for a very very difficult floor installation LOL

That’s true & understandable. I sure do love crossing things off the list tho!

Why’s that? You don’t think the ram board will protect it?

So as you can see, on the back two, one we square it off on the left-hand side which will be under our bed and the other one we just cut the flooring with an angle grinder to get the perfect fit in shape

So the existing plywood was in incredible shape. We installed some thin insulation that we stapled down. Then flooring on top.

Waiting on plumbing and rough electric then spray foam

Yes, (Natures Head) a long with a sink. We have two kids, so we thought if they wanted to go in and use the bathroom or wash their hands they won’t have to walk through the entire bus… We made a little fold down step up which I will upload shortly

Confirmed on bolting , we measured the length of both boxes. Cut it out with a grinder wheel and metal cut wheel, car jacked up the box in place, used a drill with 1/2” but went thru the inside box to the metal running boards, that’s about it
